What ahalfwit. Almost as bad as snapster!!!
Coleman comes in at flyhalf. Well give him a shot Grant has not been good. But Carr for Deoan. The man is cluless!
Kurt Coleman gets his first start of the season in the No 10 jersey in the surprise selection among the four changes that the DHL Stormers have made for Saturday’s Vodacom Super Rugby clash with the Highlanders at Newlands.
Coach Allister Coetzee made it clear after the defeat to the Toyota Cheetahs last weekend that he was going to make changes based on form, and that has meant Peter Grant dropping to the bench for the Highlanders game. Also on the bench, though it is hard to argue he is out of form, is Deon Fourie, who will serve as the back-up hooker.
That is because of the return of Scarra Ntubeni, who started the season as the first choice Stormers hooker and is considered a better line-out thrower than Fourie, who has spent much of the Vodacom Super Rugby campaign playing on the openside flank.
Fourie did not move back to the first choice back row chiefly because Schalk Burger returns to the starting team after playing off the bench in his comeback game last week in Bloemfontein. Burger moves back into the No 7 jersey of blindside flank, with Coetzee clearly thinking that Nizaam Carr’s form in the No 6 justifies his retention ahead of Fourie.
The other change comes on the left wing, where Sailosi Tagicakibau returns in place of Devon Williams (Unlucky I think - Sailosi is a loafer of note!), who drops out of the match day squad. Coetzee explained that Tagicakibau returns on the same basis that Burger does – he was the first choice before he was ruled out with injury.
“Devon did well for us when he got an opportunity last week but we have been happy with Sailosi on the wing and Damian de Allende has also been good on the other wing,” said Coetzee (You are easily satified).
DHL Stormers team: Jaco Taute, Damian de Allende, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (captain), Sailosi Tagicakibau, Kurt Coleman, Nic Groom, Duane Vermeulen, Schalk Burger, Nizaam Carr, Michael Rhodes, Ruan Botha, Frans Malherbe, Scarra Ntubeni, Steven Kitshoff.
Replacements: Deon Fourie, Oliver Kebble, Brok Harris, Jurie van Vuuren, Siya Kolisi, Louis Schreuder, Peter Grant, Kobus van Wyk.
Well no use crying abouit this halfwits selections.
Go Stormers bring down the highlanders with a bump.
