Very good match, but Los Pumas were still hung over from last week's party.

A change in attitude turned these chumps into champions.

They were brilliant.

It was an absolute pleasure to see them produce that kind of magic..

If they can keep their composure and play with that kind of committment I cant see anyone coming close.

The best performance of the tournament so far.
Retallack brought more power to the tight five.

Yes the AB's came out with a great game and destroyed the Pumas bigtime.

What an absolute great performance from the AB's.

Without doubt the best game thus far and really a brilliant display of rugby.

Fortunately the Boks don't have to play them once more in this tournament.

Thankfully.

It is interesting how not one team so far this year could string together two decent performances in a row.

One shouldn’t hang your hat on volatility. Great standalone performance but when a team turns around like that in the space of a week, it’s probably prudent to retain perspective. Blowing hot and cold is a sign of a downtrend. Similar to the Boks. Though, the positive for the Boks is that the team are drilled in what they’re trying to do and know their game. Meaning that when things go wrong/right, it’s easier to analyse and what was done well/badly. Despite yesterday’s performance, i’m struggling to see what the AB plan is. Perhaps it’s above my pay grade or maybe it’s as it looks with individual performances and reliance on forwards playing out of their skin. Hopefully for them it’s not the latter because it’ll be difficult to sustain. EG they lose to us, then beat us, then lose to Bargie and then beat them.

One thing is we have a world class hooker in Sami T, what a machine.

Rettalick by far had his best turn out in black since coming back from Japan but against a shot argie side so not sold that he is back to his best but I will still take him if he is at 80% of his form of old.

Overall I am holding back until we demolish Aussie before I to excited

All Blacks looked really good in what essentially looked like a training run. So many good signs though. Forward dominance & a good strategy to deal with the rush defence. Also the 12/13 combination looked very good. Plus as crusdader said our hooker is emerging as world class?? Still, we have to see if ABs can sustain the level of performance & if the can adjust to different teams. I’m optimistic that we are on the right path.

Yeah,  the hooker kicks ass...their whole starting front row is looking much better.

Yep it all starts in the front row and the scrum has been awesome in the last few games. A few tweaks in the backline shape/moves and it all came together for the boys. Let’s see how Rennie’s Aus comes back from the Bok mauling in 10 days in Melbourne. Interesting to see if the Argies can lift themselves off the carpet for the Boks but I’m expecting another bashing from the Boks, especially in SA.

Good performance from the AB's.

But it is only 1 match.

They cannot afford to get ahead of themselves.

AB will not climb the ladder properly with Fosters beer, just like the Boks with Tassie and Knee knickers.
