 Well congrats and all, but I'm a bit underwhelmed...was Basque the sole adjudicator?

A bit like Schalk's Laureus award. Come now Draad, this is what World Soccer is promoting in every game, and Spain a soccer country picks a rugby team as the best example of those values. Impressive, even if Basquet Case was on the case.

 Was only having a friendly dig at Basque.  The AB's is the team to beat....and I don't want to degrade the award, but I'm a bit irked by the "racial and cultural integration " That's not what the AB's are about IMO. They are all about picking the best possible team available, regardless of race or culture. Winning is their culture and " rugby player" is their race. This award sounds a bit politicized, but I might be a bit over sensitive on that subject.

 ..Did'nt even get a mention in NZ....What they were talking about yesterday was NZ becoming part of the space race after a successful rocket launch yesterday....so now instead of deporting overstaying yarpy boat people we can just jettison them in to space...

 Mr Draaad I think its more about race not being an impediment to selection rather than being the prime requisite .Anything that casts the greatest of all games in a good light is a good thing eh ?Brycy our wee Lego rocket beat the Aussies who still have to hitchhike off others !
