Cape Town - All Black indiscipline has more than doubledsince Steve Hansen took over as New Zealand's coach.
According to the Stuff website, during the 2007-2011 Rugby World Cup cycle, under coach Graham Henry, the All Blacks were carded once every 338.5 minutes. That's one in every four and a bit games.
In the lead-up to the 2015 World Cup, the number of cards doubled. All Blacks were sent from the field every 166 minutes, or roughly every two games.
Since then, it's increased to every 139 minutes.
New Zealand have gone from one of the cleaner sides in World Rugby to one of the worst for discipline, particularly among tier one nations.
Over the past four years, the All Blacks have earned more cards than any other tier one side - 31 in just 54 games. One of those was red (Sonny Bill Williams against the British & Irish Lions).
The next spot is taken by Australia, with 30 cards in 55 matches, while Argentina are one card back on 29.
Compare that with Ireland, who have been carded 11 times in 47 matches to be by far the cleanest side in World Rugby since 2013.
South Africa are the second cleanest with just 16 cards in 48 games with Wales and England close behind.
New Zealand's worst offender on the card front is captain Kieran Read, with five yellow cards since 2008. Sam Whitelock has four since 2010.
Of the tier one nations, Argentina's Tomas Lavanini is in the referee's bad books more than any other. He has five yellows and a red since making his debut in 2013, earning a card every 493 minutes of action.
