A whirlwind 12 months for hooker Nathan Harris will reach its peak at one of the grandest rugby theatres.

Having been an All Blacks apprentice, coach Steve Hansen has confirmed Harris will likely make his debut against the Springboks at Ellis Park, when Dane Coles takes time off for the birth of his child.

Harris said he was recently thinking that only a year ago he was trying to secure a place in the Bay of Plenty team, so it's all happened really fast.

Damn, the ABs need to get a better family planning policy in place, lol  First Conrad is on paternity leave and now Coles.
Harris has been in the AB squad for a while now but he is not an adequate replacement for Coles and Kev is struggling physically and in terms of confidence. A definite weakness for the ABs as they take on the Boks.

JW surely you jest...yr talking about a Mighty Chiefs player and a former No8  - one of the fittest forwards in the Chiefs side, the great grandson of former All Black Perry Harris ... no better place to blood an AB than Ellis park where he can run circles around those tired old yarpy forwards..
