Yeah maybe but its still a great an side. It doesent really matter who is selected. Who ever is selected is the top side. Its up to these players to give quality performances. Like you said its the top two inches.

Thrush has been very good for the abs this season, I know alot of sa bloggers dont think so :D. Birds a talent, good lineout jumper. Would of gone for Tuipoltu tho, surprised he was left out unless hes injured.

Very much a second string team. We will see how they go as Scotland are no easy beats these days.

Not really interested in that game - should be a walk in the park for the AB's. Some players I prefer is in that team - but Sklade on the wing????????

that was probably the last chance to give gametime to the non-incumbent players before the RWC so, well done Hansen & co!
And despite all the changes many players to watch and to follow their developement and form:
- DC, for sure
- The center pair of Crotty-Feikitoa
- Piutau
- Bird, who was outstanding in the ITM cup, constantly carrying the ball and smashing defenses
- Moody-Faumuina as props even if this won't be their first start together. Moody wiil very probably be O. Franks' partner after the RWC and let see if before it.
- Vito who no doubt deserves this start
- Parsons new at hooker
and Slade at wing even if it's only to give rest to the incumbents and won't repeat again

Don't rate Crotty as anything special.
A little surprised that Hansen couldn't come up with a better option. I know he's one that won't let the team down but surely you'd rather have someone a little less boring ... someone with a creative edge.
The only impressive thing about him is his beard.

CC, you are wrong, twice at least.
Crotty shaved his beard and he's one of the centers with more creativity.
What
I cannot understand is how people under-rate this player only because
he's not a strong linebreaker or finisher. He creates space for the
others and this is as much needed or probably more than someone who
finish the play.
An example of this could be the match against USA (even if the opposition wasn't the strongest) with his 3 try assists or the first half against the wallies this year at Auckland before getting injured, a very complete game from him.
H is ability to choose the right choice is second to none. he'll very probably be the incumbent 2/5, pairing with Feikitoa, after the RWC
