Good to see Argentina move to 10, I think they were 12 before the RC. Oz 4th is a bit of a drop. France, well the are France so no surprise whatever they do.

Surely Argentina are a lot better than 10th in the world? I can't see them losing to Scotland or Samoa. In fact France, Ireland and Wales would also have their hands full trying to contain the Argies, based on what I saw in the Rugby Champs. I guess we'll see on the EOY tour, but in my opinion the Northern hemisphere conditions will suite Argentina.
I predict that Argentina's ranking will look a lot better by the end of the year.

Given we should have beaten both OZ and nz down under we are right now the real number 1s dispite the clucking to the contrary by the kbbs.
I agree re Argentina - they should climb above the hapless Samoans and Scots and perhaps further.
Oz can count themselves most unfortunate to have lost against Argies. It was though poetic justice.

Please stop JW - you are making us blush - we are trying our best to be modest.
Argentina should have beaten the Boks this year as well as the Wallabies - The Boks should count themselves lucky for their escape.

Yes the All Blacks are #1 and I cannot see any team overtaking them in the foreseeable future.
They deserve that rating hands down.
They appear to have mastered all the other teams they meet including the Springboks.
Must admit I do enjoy watching them play..........hoping and praying for a miracle.
But alas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arthur John, the ABs just got beaten by the Springboks - JW put that there to get a few reactions but we the ABs fans have had enough (24years of) pain to know that you are only as Number 1 as your next Test.
Matter of fact, Sir GH was right , we learn more from our losses than our wins. So I pray all our losses happen now but not during RWC 2015 .

Hakwa
Not for long - Hakwa - not for long. We got rid of Morne Steyn and that was good enough to beat the AB's. There are a few others to go - Jannie du Plesssis and Victor Matfield to name 2 - and possibly move Jan Serfontein to 12 - and the next victory will eb a piece of pie. Gone will be the AB first ranking.

CleverMike: good to see such optimism in the face of despair & disappointment.

If Argentina is able to keep this team intact for their EOYT they should beat Scotland and Italy and give France a real run. They seem to be very vulnerable to overseas club commitments though.
