Was that the same great Springbok team that were humiliated at Twickenham to bring an end to Mallett's winning streak which also started him on a downward spin like a WWII plain that was shot down?
Oh, and BTW, it is not Mallet that set the record with the All Blacks equalling it. It was the other way round. The NZ winning streak was 27 years old when we did started ours. They were first and we equalled theirs. They have just equalled their own original 17 game winning streak, which we equalled in 1998.
Another thing. That record is also only as far as Tier 1 sides are concerned. The overall record of all international sides is actually held by Cyprus and it currently standing at 23 matches and counting.
Glad I could be of service. Call again.
