Glad to see Slade, Vito, Tuiplotu, Bird, Fekitoa are included. A. Savea was not included but his inclusion in the Europe tour was for exposure not really for potentially being an AB at this point.

predictable squad, and even  though its only a wider training squad, im surprised to harris selectred ahead of rhys marshall.

happy to see vito back in the All Black mix, but ive got a bad feeling that hes going to be omitted when the final sqaud is named, which is a huge shame, cos IMO hes NZs nest No8 after read.

our depth in every area is fantastic, bar hooker of course.
coles and kev will easily be the top two hookers, but the pickings after those the picking are very slim, worrying cos injuries could be a major problem, especially with kevs recent history.

im curious about fekitoa and crotty, i think theres room in the final squad for one, but not both.
so will hansen choose the capital x factor fekitoa, or will he go with dependable next to error free crotty???
crotty is well versed in both midfield positions, and that will go along way as hansen loves the utility factor, it also why the uchiha clan give crotty the nod of approval.

fekitoas time will come, but he might have tom wait until after the RWC!!!

 Hi Sasuke san: yeah, it's tough to make the cut in the AB loose forward category so Vito will have to really do something special or their will have to be an injury. Crotty v fekitoa is a good one, Crotty has proven himself over time so we will see if the "new guy" can give something different that is needed. Great team with some good competition for selection. 
Hooker of course is the position that we need to see someone emerge. Coles did it but we need at least one more. Motu Matu'u is good for the big hit & I would like to see him come off the bench & take on Bismarck but being a big hitter is not enough of course (he has problems throwing the ball in).

hey buddy,

i would love to see matuu in the mix as well, but he hasnt played enough this season and his exclusion is warranted, same goes with ged robinson.

but then to add harris as the bolter even if it is just a wider training squad, hmmmmm, would have much rather seen that chance go to ged or matuu or even m arshall.

Based on form I am surprised at Peranara's inclusion, very talented player, but he's still way too inconsistent and error ridden. Based on form I would of put Eliss In ahead of Peranara.

eliss's form is good, but he is 30 and that form has not been anything special to warrant a selection for the All Blacks.

bottomline, theres nothing he can really offer, smith despite only being in his thrid year, is the clear incumbent, and barlows whose form has been average is the easy No2 halfback.

if ellis couldnt make the All Blacks in 2012 when he was the undisputed best halfback in the spXV, theres no chance of him making the All Blacks now based on form which has only been top class for the last month.

Firstly I officially lodged my complaints with the Reds for employing such a deadbeat as the coach... so moving right along...


I think Barrett is exceptional and to me seems like Carter's successor in place of Cruden - his uncomplicated kicking style and general play shows he is all class - there's my tip of the day - shame he doesn't want to move to Australia like the rest of his countrymen....


I note the new "aussie" ref Obrien.... another kiwi....


Anyway I see they've got the Aussie BORN FRanks and Kerr-Barlow in there... nice to see we can assist...

Tip #2 is that Tahs may debut a 120kg Fijian winger this weekend too... thx NRL not for much longer though...

 Lol considering the amount of Fijians who have played for Aussie sides, and the Aussie side, I don't see how you have a leg to stand on. And I am not sure why it matters where a player was born, unless they are playing at 1 month born haha. And can we let this "kiwi" ref thing go, just because something is controversial does not mean the wrong call was made, and definatley does not mean kiwi refs in general are "bent", or it is pre-determined or fixed. Aussie refs and SA refs make just as many bad calls, Lions Blues game anyone, but of course the second NZ fans complain about it, were hypocrites righto. Bad calls get made all the time, but their is no underlying thing other then human beings being human beings, making bad error of judgement. I suspose when your own teams performance is not up to standard, you have no other option other then to blame the ref constantly, apart from the clichie, expecting anyone to believe NZ has dominated Internatonal Rugby for 4 years now, because of the ref is laughable at best. NZ has their stuff sorted from top to bottom, that is why we are #1 and that is why Aussie and SA well continue to suffer. I mean you well never hear a coach, say and cheers to the ref for making the right call lol.

nadolo hates his old man who left thier family and pretty much cut all ties with the family, its why nemani chssanged his surname to his mums maiden name nadolo.

also he was born in fiji, and aussies are in no position to argue about who should be playing where, especially if the wallabies are anything to go by,,,

ARU should lauch a full scale raid on some of the NRL stars, sell them a chance to make some insane money overseas in the near fututre after them make a name for themselves via the wallabies, which is a bonus cos union travels places league never will.

Its ok I admit kiwis are good @ rugby but @ just about every other sport you are a non-event - rugbys your national game its Australia's about 20th most important sport... in fact in most states it doesn't even rate a mention...


pound for pound aussies still compete and that's why force / tahs / brumbies all up there... btw the brumbies have now dismantled the chiefs and sharks - granted hometown advantage does help all teams... shudder to think what the score would have been if reds played under bent kiwi ref AND in Canterbury....

 re NRL raids - wont happen easily anymore - NRL now got veto $$ power above salary cap to ward off marquee players... because they aren't that educated they will take the money now and live in western Sydney rather than venture to France etc and ward off long term brain damage...


Rugby going to face really tough times in Australia in next few years... sadly reds idiot coach and board must take much of that blame...


Ewen really needs to get some sth hem success this year or mark my words - rugby will die a slow death in oz...


frankly Oz rugby needs kiwis cause most aussies don't understand or like the game... one visitor the other day thought I was watching soccer on Sunday arvo........!!!!!!!!

 Redsman: the most charitable explanation of your visitors confusion over if the game you were watching was rugby of soccer is that it must have been two SA teams playing (perhaps Sharks v Brumbies), lol
