otherwise it might be a tad bit too long, :o)

BTW i hope jason jaftha dosent screw the sharks/bulls match up like he has with every other match hes officiated.
IMO jaffa should have coached the lions cheetahs game as that is not as high profile as the sharks bulls, but que sera sera, :o/

 Prinsloo scored a few tries in the pre-season. He didn't start a single pre season match, this is his first start so far this season.

Find it amazing that the Cheetahs scrum struggled in the warm up games with Cayleb Oosthuizen starting at 1 and then improved considerably when Nkanyane replaced him...........Drotske never inspires me with confidence. Uys at 1.94m is far too short for a lock.

I am surprised Waltie Vermeulen never made the S15 squad and Andries Ferreria would have been a better bet than Uys and Landman.

I dont know why Drotske never retained Kings lock Reinier Bernardo.......who apparently stood out in the Stormers warm up game against the Kings

I'm very interested to see how "Boom" Prinsloo does. Had some eye-catching runs last year and looks to be a real handful. Played for the BlitzBokke so you know he has decent pace and endurance.

I feel generous and five you a bit of info,  There will be -

*   6 Cheetahs

*   6 Sharks

*   2 Bulls and

*   1 Lions

player in my starting line-up.

All 8 bench players are from various other franchises - other than the Rebels - which I intend to use in Round 2.  Provisionally there are 2 Stormers players and one each from the Chiefs, the Hurricanes, the Reds, the Waratahs the Brumbies and the Highlanders and I would have liked to include m ore of the others as well - but that is just not possible this week.

 It took some thinking - but I eventually came up with my squads.

Foxsport

Have 6 Cheetahs, 6 Sharks, 2 Bulls and 1 Lion in the squad

Obvious omissions - Francoiis Steyn, Willem Alberts,

Not so obvious omissions - JJ Engelbrecht, Jan Serfontein

If it was not for the 6 maximum rule - the 2 Bulls players would not have been in the squad either.

Test Rugby

Have 7 Cheetahs, 4 Sharks and 1 Lion (s)  in the squad

Obvious omissions - Francoiis Steyn, Willem Alberts,

Not so obvious omissions - JJ Engelbrecht, Jan Serfontein

AM REALLY SORRY FOR YOU GUYS - AM GOING TO CLEAN YOU OUT THIS WEEKEND

i dont if u remember, but jake white was one of the worst culprits when it came to releasing the team, jospeh from the highlanders was pretty bad.

which they could all be like solomon who was easily the king of early team announcements, hi five for appropriate pun, :o)

also are u going to join the superbru fantasy comp???
i think u and rooy should join up, ive sent both ur superbru accounts invites and if anyone else is interested, just give us a buzz, :o)

I have applied for membership - you must accept application.

I spent an hour picking a team.   The limit of 4 players a team is difficult.   Wanted to have 6 Cheetahs and 6 Sharks in Round 1.   Had to go for 4 players per team and even 3 Lions.

Next week will be easier with all teams bar the Rebels playing.

Sure White constantly was the arsehole of the week.  In SA he will have to accept the standard practice - the printers must have the team by Thursday lunch time at the latest.  End of that BS evident.

Canrugby: same for me, I am heavy on the Cheetahs.
I found the selections hard to make as there are only 4 SA teams to select starters from this week.
I dropped a lot of kiwi players just so I could get enough players on the field this week & will probably pay the price next week, lol

Not difficult for me to avoid BZ players - the good ones are grossly overpriced and last year produced yo-yo performances.

I have a few NZ players on the bench - the really worthwhile ones and bring in Piutau and Luatua next week- but very few else.

I am not going to reveal my squads for this week - you can get it from Foxsport after closing time.

Clevermike: I am sure you will do well this year in s15 fantasy rugby. Some posters like to give you a hard time but your record is pretty good so you must know something, eh
I also have stacked some kiwi players on the bench & have my eye on bringing in others as soon as this weekends game are over.  My challenges was picking SA players as under normal circumstances I would never pick 15 of them for a weekend. It was good because I had to learn about some players that I had hardly heard of.
Finally, we are approaching kick-off

rules is pretty simple, no saffas in the centers and outsidebacks when all conferences are playing.

cos of transfer restrictions, i might be stuck with one or two nect week, but they are all out of here by rnd 3, round 4 at the latest.

props and locks is where the saffas are worth their fantasy weight in gold, they are also solid in the losse forward departments, but all three conferneces are really.
