howdy peeps,

posting this ongoing thread so that we can have a place for teams named to go, and also so that mikey dosnet make fun of my sleeping habits,

have upgraded the thread with some new bonus features, and will use the first match of the round as an example,,,

Crusaders vs Force - AMI Stadium, Christchurch - NZ 19:35

Crusader

TBA

vs

Force

TBA

just above the crusaders u will see a new line which has the following information
- teams that are playing (crusaders vs force)
- stadium and location of that stadium (AMI stadium, christchurch)
- and time of kick off which will always be the local time of where game is played ( NZ 19:35)

anyways, if there are any suggestions on what might be added to this thread for ur fanatsy convenience, then feel free to leave comments below,

and as always, good luck to all ur teams, both the fantasy and official variety,

except rooy, the last we thing we need is for him to start getting lucky,

ok ok its not fair to single him out cos hes kicking everyones asses everywhere, good luck to rooy too,

 Sasue
Nice lay-out, but I expect chaos this week.  The test training squads are all still missing - they will in SA only rejoin the franchise squads on Thursday.  Meyer reported some injuries and I suppose other test squads will end up doing the same.
We will be very lucky if we get the teams on Thursday - I think that some teams may even be named after the deadline.
Lets hope for the best though - I have to make three changes and money is again a problem.  Have to weed out a few SA players - especially bearing in mind round 17.
What indeed would be interesting over the next week will be -
*   The Under 20 WC starting on Monday; and
*   the announcement of the test teams of the various countries.
I am still upset - nobody seems to want to join the pools I started on Superbru for the game outcomes on the Under 20 WC and the June tests series.  Come on boys and girls - time to be brave.

i started a pool too mikey for the JRWC, but am in the middle of taking it down.

dont worry though, i will join both ur comps and we will try to get a few others like dr win and lucky luke too, i expect the regular usual suspects to enter at some stage,

im not too worried about the SA squad selections though, ever since i used up my wildcard, i have gone to great lengths to keep my saffa players at an all time minimum.
i wont have more then one saffa in any position, which has been difficult as i have been trying to recruit de allende for a long time and was going to do so last weekend, but then potgieter was named to start, sigh, :/

would love to bring in julian savea back into my team too, and with the crusaders playing the force, nadolo is ontop of the uchiha clan transfer list for rnd 16.

possible OB combo - julian savea, israel folau, nemani nadolo, a samoan, tongan and fijian triple threat bonanza, :p

I learned one bitter lesson this year in Super 15 - this is a team that it is better not to have players in fantasy selections - so I have recently have none of them in any of my selections.

Finally ... Stokkies in the mix.

Would have preferred Faf to start with Britz at 7.

Not sure why the useless Botha is chalked up on the wing. Hate the bastard.

Either way ... relatively strong bench for the last 20.

Gooooooo Lionsssssssss!!!

He was injured earlier on in the season. Played a bit of Vodacom cup and then it seemed as if Ackerman forgot about him.

I hope he takes this opportunity with both hands and shows us his magic.

Could cement him a permanent start at the Lions.

There's a rumour going around that the Bulls have approached Marnitz and that Marnitz has shown some interest. I hope that's all it is ... a rumour.

I'll be highly pissed off if he dumps us for the Bulls.

Bit late for Ackerman to wake up to Stokkies Hanekom at 13.......talk about a dumb forward not knowing his rugby........how on planet earth could you ever select Deon v/Rensburg at 13 ahead of any player, let alone a talented one like Stokkies.

But the most insulting selection of all is Cronje ahead of de Klerk at 9 for two weeks running......geez Ackerman must be one stupid man.......Cronje has to be the worst S15 rugby player I have ever seen

marnitz style of rugby would fit ionto what the bulls have at the moment.

if he does go, then the lions should try to secure JLP who IMO is the most underrated player in SA.

and benching faf is pretty odd, would like to know the reason behind it all, cos it cant be form related.

Marnitz was rejected by the Bulls and then went to the Lions.  They must have realized hey made a massive mistake in his case and I hope he remembers how he was treated by them previously.  The Bulls is bound to use Pollard as their first flyhalf and Boshoff will get the scraps - like van Zyl is getting at present.  He s hould tell them to bugger off.

yeah van zyl was the biggest waste of time transfer, he was so much better off at the cheetahs.

i really rate van zyl though, acceleration is through the roof and the rest of his game is pretty damn solid too.
