@mikey,

"I have not even thought about any famtsy issues yet - am still fully occupied in castigating Meyer and his shenanigans."
mikey theres not enough days in the year to do that, lolz,

but very interesting reading in the injury department, so click on link to see the latest.
im sure a lot of folks would have stepehen moore in there teams and hes gone for the season.

am a little early this week and will bump thread accordingly, but i just wanted to post this thread now so that there was a location for folks to go when teams do get named.
also all the links i usually provide were able to be posted now too, so a job i do now is a job i dont have to do later,

congrats on ur Boks team mikey, i know u dont like the oldies, but a win is always better then a loss aye???

 Ahhh missed this thread haha Hurricanes! Interesting discussion on Sky Rugby Breakdown, that the players like Du Preez, Matfeild maybe a permanent selection. It may be strategy, they maybe taking these players to the world cup next year, you know been their done that. It makes sense though, I mean SA have a lot of talent, but either too green or not experienced enough. At Ten Steyn's your only option, Lambie, Goosen e.t.c. Have all flopped. Pollard is way too green, so M Steyn to me is the only option. So you can see why Meyer brought back the 2007 wc heroes, would not be surprised if this would be the team at the wc next year.

There could never have been a bigger flop than Morne was on Saturday.  And there is no way we do not have better locks than Matfield - even if they do not have experience.  Meyer may harken back to 2007 - but the selfsame lot failed in 2010 and especially so in 2011 and the rugby supporters will not forget that.
I suspect he will try to play his favourite geriatrics in the RC and the outcome would be disastrous - so he will be forced to make changes and that will certainly happen - unless he could finmd reasons to flummox the public.
Just wait for the RC and I think the Aussies and AB's can start celebrations already.  They will have runaway victories against the lot that played on Saturday.

 Looks as close to their 2012 and 2013 winning team, much better team then four weeks ago. As for the canes Im expecting Leiua to move to 13, and prob bateman inside him.

You still have it wrong.  Look under the heading Rebels vs Reds and instead of the Reds you mentioned the Chiefs as opponents.  The same applies to the heading Waratahs cs Brumbies where you find the opponent of the Waratahs listed as the Vrusaders.
Sorry to nitpick - but when I looked at the lay out - I was a bit puzzled.

chiefs team is probably the strongest with whats available, but definitely not full strength.

IMO liam squire is overrated , but kolomatagi is too green.

i would have started tim nanai williams, who IMO is a game breaker and as much a fan as i am of marshall, tom would prob be on the bench.

am also a huge fan of lowe, but sweeny on the wing has been nothing but a hit, the similarties between sweeny and horne from the tahs is uncanny as a mofo.

 Good hurricane's team should beat saders, but really surprised at Leiua at 12, I think he would make a lot more impact at 13, a very damaging ball runner. To me Bateman is a pure 12, 13 is out of position anyway, good too see Savea the other one get a start, he was really good off the bench againgst the Blues four weeks ago.
