nice work from the waratahs and stormers for their early team announcements, waratahs are prob the most fantasy friendly team in the comp at the moment, all team announcements have been on tuesday.
cheika knows what he wants and dosnet muck about, thats the confidence of a champion team.

will announce the match officials as soon ASAP, but as always, good luck to everyones teams, officially and of the fantas y variety,

I would have considered Cruden at flyhalf, but with Anscombe in the side the goal kicking will be taken over by the latter - but I would pick Anscombe ahead of Cruden in any event.
The Chiefs side against the Stormers worries me  in two respects.   Neither Cruden, Marshall or Anscombe are strong tacklers and unless one of the loosies are on permanent guard against De Allende there are going to be some serious defense problems for the Chiefs. Last week it took the Crusaders 2 to 3 players to tackle De Allende every time he got the ball and this time it would be even be worse.
The Chiefs tight 5 is just not strong enough to scare anybody out of his wits - that is the second problem.

im considering picking anscombe, lolz, :oP

but i just noticed that tom marshall is playing 12, have never seen him play in the midfield, so i find his selection a little odd when they have fruean on the bench.

rennie/smith cant be doubted though, and its good to see marshall playing his first spXV match for his new franchise.

marshalls midfield newbie status could be something for JDV and de allende to exploit, but still too much class in the chiefs, and especially with the coaching staff, so the chiefs to win by 15pts.

even with ardie starting, its hard to be happy with this canes team, hammet sucks and he makes it impossible.

was going to bring in whitley this week for kriel, but i might roll with ardie instead,,,

also the last time the cheetahs were in wellington, they won thier first match in NZ, surprise surpsie another record hammet can be proud of.

I have used my wildcard - but  am still waiting the announcement of the Sharks team - which may force me into making more changes.    Have no Lions players in the starting line-up - some on the bench for cost purposes.  If Reinach is not starting I will move De Klerk to start.

It's official, Pieter-Steph du Toit is out of this weekend's game against the Reds and the Sharks are awaiting the results of a scan which will show the full extent of his injury.

This completely screws up my Foxsport Fantasy as I've already used all my transfers for the week and I have Flip van der Merwe from the Bulls on my bench. The Bulls have a bye so I'm going to be short a lock unless I use my wild card and I've been saving that for the round when the SA players all return (week 18 on 4/5 July if I'm not mistaken).

Still think I'm going to save my wild card and just go in a man light this weekend.

Come on Sharks!

@rooy,

thanks for that, i already had stephanie out of most my teams as he hasnt quite lived up to the hype, potential is clearly there though.

and in case u didnt know laready, dont forget u can undo the transfers u have done for the week, it is a once a week function only which is handy for folks in ur very situation.

Sasuke, thanks but I've already used the undo function this week . . . after I sold De Allende instead of Fruean and then saw Fruean was benched.

I usually make my changes the Sunday after the matches so I can maximise my profits, knowing that I can use one undo every week. I generally end up using the undo after the teams are announced and I flush whatever profits I made down the toilet but hey, that's what the undo button is there for!

normally i would laugh at urs and others pain, but the last time i did i ended up 17th after the first round.
so i hope lady karma is impressed with my level of empathy, LMFAO

i might copy ur tactics regarding transfers on sunday, and save the undo changes for as late as i possibly can.
those maximising profit tactics could be the difference between getting a player u want/need and settling for a player who is compatible in $$$ only,

Thanks for the info on Pieter-Steph.   I managed to replace him on Foxsport and Test Rugby, but am stuffed on Superbru - one player short.

I'm guessing Peet Marais will get the call-up, but please note it's just that, a guess.
Stephan Lewis has actually been very impressive in his substitute appearances so far this season. Pieter-Steph might struggle to get his jersey back!
