There has been no team announcements as yet - so this is merely to take this thread to the top.
There are three SA teams  to play at home venues - so the announcements are likely to be tomorrow.   The Sharks has a bye and the Bulls are in New Zealand.  I think they too would announce their team tomorrow. The foreign teams playing in SA is likely to be announced on Thursday - the rest we will never know what the timeline is.

There was some question about Kieran Read. He made the trip to SA and is expected to play. Turns out he came out because of the head knock, not the ankle, but head knock was determined to be "tame". Didn't look that way to me. Hope Kieran isn't playing the hero and can remember his kids' names when he's 50.

have added last weeks teams and round 8 injury list.

@oimatey,
read was prob just being wrapped in cotton wool, not the first time its happened with the All Blacks top players.
i get a feeling theres a standing order from the higher ups to give extra consideration to the All Blacks most valuable assets.

then again when u get hit by a dump truck with nos gas in the form of julian savea, maybe  im just tripping, lolz, :oP

saders are playing the lions, but read has injury concerns, fantasy dilemmas suck big time.

Frank Halai has been a disaster for me in Fantasy rugby lately. He has had little chances & when he has he has messed up. I know if I drop him he will have a killer day though. Should I take one for the team & drop him? Na h, lol

I have one lonesome trade left and am nipping straws that I may pick up an injury.

Thankfully we get a new allotment of trades after lock down.

That's one part of this game that I need to work on ... just call me an enthusiastic trader.

Read is now in doubt due to continued concussion symptoms. They appear to be dealing with it up front which is great.
Moore is out this weekend with knee injury. Would not be surprised if they hold him out the following week or bring him off the bench to give him a three week break with the bye

Read has been iffy in all games played and from a fantasy rugby perspective no loss.   I made a fool of myself by bringing him into my selections last week and even if he plays I was going to change him in any event.

Its going to be very difficult to make selections this week - there are 4 Aussie teams and 2 New Zealand teams - where the team announcements are likely to be in the early hours tomorrow morning (SA time) - leaving us in a quandary as to late selection hours before the closing time.
Maybe since there are 3 of the teams playing in SA - the SA newspapers may get hold of teams today during daylight time in SA - but will that happen?  Unlikely.

I would stick with read if he starts, he was injured so he diddnt score well. Ive already made transfers tho haha, but pretty predictable Cruden, and Messam should start.

Read was not all that good in all the games he played and his point scoring was on the low side - so he is not really worth following.   If Messam starts he may be a proposition - he is above all else a hard worker.   Cruden will not kick at goal and he is up against two very sound loosie defenders - so I  do not think he will make waves in the upcoming game.  Anscombe will be a much better proposition than Cruden - given the circumstances.
I am much more worried about the Folau issue - if he does not start I will keep my OB's unchanged and bring in Anscombe.
However, it is all guessing since we have not seen the team announcements and I am not about to make selections without that.

update
Rebels and hurricanes have been updated,
I agree with Mickey, read has been pretty average, he got of to a wicked start though with 40pts in his first game, and I guess that plus the fact he's the worlds best player sees him in so much teams.I was planning on getting rid of him this week anyways, as I don't like the uncertainty and my other incumbent braid is on the bench.
Reports earlier on in the week had folau struggling to get a healthy sleeping pattern sorted in SA.couple that with his throat injury and a desperate stormers side playing at home, and even if he is selected, I don't think he's getting the uchiha clan captaincy.
All my foxsport changes are in the forwards for the moment, but I'm hoping nothing drastic with selections from remaining to be named teams.

All teams have pretty reasonable defensivly sound loosies, crudens a great attacking player sure he cld work around that. I think canes based on form have the best backrow in the comp, vitos in this week. Made transfers stuck with read should start, you may notice i pick players on a principle of risk and stupidity, and it seems to work for me haha.

I cannot yet make up my mind about certain changes - I need to make 2 changes amongst the forwards - ie the back row - and one if Folau is playing  (even if he is starting I may decide to take a chance and not change my present OB's, but rather look at Anscombe .
However, the outstanding teams may represent too many changes to my starting line-up - which I may be forced to make. so I cannot make any changes as yet -  hope the position gets clearer later today.

I am frankly not impressed with the team fielded by the Crusaders and they might be in for another beating.   My first foxsport change was made - I got rid of Kieran Reid from my starting line-up.
I have still 1 player in my starting line up where I may have to make a change.   He is Brodie Retallick (wicked last week)
I think if Retallick start I will elave him where he is - he cannot bugger up twice in two weeks - so I may be able to make two optional changes to existing players.   All depends now on the announcement of the Chiefs and Waratahs teams.

Ok ... so I'll go into this round playing with 11 men.

Thankfully not as big a disaster as I thought.

Let's see who I can whip with my 11 men.

As if Cheika does not have serious enough problems - what with breaking a glass door, threatening a filming crew of Supersport and being pilloried by White - he is now in serious competition with Rennie for the Arsehole of the Week award on this site.   The winner is also given the Piss Pot Crown as a special Award.
Would love to see Cheika crowned with a Piss Pot.
Bet is White will love to see that as well.

No Folau and Beale at full back = I thought Alofa Alofa was injured.   And Cheika just missed the Arsehole of the Week award - won by Rennie this week.
