the cheetahs and highlanders have been updated, thanks boys, :o)

highlanders have benched nasi manu this week, bad move IMO. they should have benched evans, moved dixon to 6 and started manu.
alternatively they could have benched dixon and started hoeata, but i guess they needed cover fo lock so its understandable.

I hear ya messam being benched has drastically changed my transfers. If Read starts may start him, but might go two backrowers as Read is coming off injury, hasent bn in great form too

chiefs, brumbies and waratahs have been updated, cheers boys,

brodie retallick as captain of the chiefs, the uchiha caln are very happy with this wise choice.
jaws is easily one of the best locks in the world, and im sure he will be a fine captain, might even captain the All Blacks one day too,

izzy folau is back for the waratahs, will be hard not to make him captain considering the carnage he unleashed last time round.
and whats with cheika and the bench??? thats three weeks in a row now he hasnt named a bench,

moore another points cow is back for the burmbies, was looking at bringing him in, but was impressed with marshall last week both visually andf statistically so i might persevere.

not too many teams left, should be all named by end of thrusday SA time.

Useless Jaws as captain? He is a constant candidate to be carded and despite all the hoo-ha useless in scrums and line outs. Have they no better in the Chiefs set up? Would have been better if they kept Messam in the starting line-up and made him captain.
Cannot understand Hammett - why not play Messam in the starting line up. Maybe they should do something drastic to the scrumming. Lost it badly against the Bulls and Cheetahs in that department of the game.
I have only one questionable selection left - and that is Pek Cowan as a prop. Am also keen to get the Crusaders, Lions and Sharks teams. However, it is likely that all the players I have provionally in the Foxsport squad - will in fact start for them.
Next week is going to be another headache with the byes coming up.

messam is a flanker bro, his involvement with scrums argument makes zero sense.
rennie the chiefs coach is just rotating him out, hes done it all year long and then chiefs are playing the rebels at home, so need to play the strongest team, just a team that can get the job done at home which rennie has done.

Rettilluck is the best lock forward in world rugby, having your skill set primarily aa a lineout jumper in the modern era, is not the onlt important thing, most lineout forwards play as loosies anyway.

If you are looking for a loosie masquerading as a lock - Retallick will be second choice behind a lot of players. The best lock in the world must play a role in three major functions - namely line outs, scrumming and mauls - and Retallick is useless in all three of those. He can be credited with tackles and some ball carries outside traffic 0 that is why he is useful in fantasy selections - in the real forward environment he is not acceptable.
Maybe he needs coaching to up his game - but that type of coaching is not available in New Zealand.

Awesome to have Minnie back.

Also very pleased to see Robbie Coetzee on the bench. Wepener is useless and needs to retire.

Pleased Ackerman kept Britz in the run on side. Kriel will no doubt make his presence felt in the 2nd 40.

Thanks - I have corrected my mistakes. The way the bloody Lions use their website - you cannot merely copy the team for this thread - you have to retype the whole team. Maybe I should wait till the team is reported on on this site.
Minnie is a good selection - but pity about Jaco Kriel not starting. I rate Kriel higher than even Marcel Coetzee as a 6.

thats way too much of an oversimplification of what role a lock should provide, of course those can be regarded as primary roles, but u forget theres two locks, and the duties of the lock can be shared accordingly between the No4 and No5.
nobody typifies my example better then then the brothers, where bakkies was solid in the scrumming and mauls, while matfield was solid in the lineouts, sure they can do both, but they outplayed the other in their particular skill sets and neither would be considered world class under ur definition.

i have no doubt u need only look at the All Black/Bok games last year, and jaws will just laugh at ur comments.
jaws and whitelock schooled flip, kruger and lady elizabeth, the year before they did the same to bekker, lady elizabeth and co.

jaws in every All Black test was second to one player when it comes to work in the breakdown, and that player is king richie.
retallicks ability to get round the field for the entire game and be as effective in the 80th minute as he is in the 1st minute is something i havent seen anyone consistently do like jaws, not lady elizabeth, whitelock, or even matfield in his prime.
jaws IMO is the best lock in the world easy, with the added bonus of not likely to go on a princess vacation like lady elizabeth has done in 2014.

zero conviction in ur comments, cos at the end of the day u continue to select him.

uchiha clan think that saffa outside backs and centers are the biggest waste of time, especially when u have much sweeter and more ripe backs from NZ and OZ to choose from.
my fantasy selections are reflection of this.

in two years playing spXV and for the All Blacks, retallick has helped his teams win two spXV titles, two bledisloes, two freedom cups and two RC/4nats titles.
