howdy all, no surprises that the kings have named their team first, very good of them and im sure they get sarugby.coms official most fantasy rugby frindly team award, thanks boys, :o)

also a big congrats to the cheetahs who have made the finals for the first time in their history, top effort from the bloemfontein lads.

exciting times with the finals just ahead, and many spots in the top 6 still up for grabs.we still have some great rugby to be played, and while the outcome of the stormers/bulls match is one nearly everyone will be holding their breath for, i cant help but feel the game itslef wont live up the hype that it should be.

below is a link a for the macth officials in rnd 20,,,

and as always good luck to ur teams both officially and of the fantasy variety, :o)

hurricanes have been upadted, :o)

a case of the one hit wonders for andre taylor all right.
mark hammet has also got to be on his last legs, 3rd year in a row that the hurricanes havent made the finals under hammet, and if the canes dont make the finals next year, it will be the 5th year in a row, which equals the worst  finals drought ever for the canes, 4 of which would have been under that cockhead hammet.

*update*

crusaders, rebels, stormers and bulls have been updated, :o)

would really like to know whats the go with the bieber at the rebels, hard to believe that any of his infractions was worse then those fro beale.

bulls look the stronger team compared to the stormers, even with serfonteins injury, most of SA will be cheeting for the bulls in this match while most of NZ will be backing the stormers hard out, ireelvant though if the chiefs dont beat the blues, so fingers crossed, :o)
i would have played de allende over van den heever, i would also have de allende over de jong too, but theres plenty of room on the field for JDV, de jong and de allende at the same time.

crusaders are looking strong though, good replacemnt for romano with former higlander tom donnelly.

chiefs, blues and highlanders have all been named, :o)

thats the first time all year that ALL NZ teams have been named before our SANZAR bros.

interesting to see that rennie has played robbie robinson on the wing and benched tikorotuma, big mistake IMO, especially with the No1 spot up for grabs and the blues playing their strongest team possible.
chiefs should have played a full strength team, especially as they will most likely have a bye next week.

jospeh also did a bit of a crazy, by getting rid of buxton potualii from the bench for treeby, potualii is of the same calibre as gear and poki, i can understand why he would be benched for those two, but to not even make the team for treeby??? o_O
2014 will be a different story and the world will get to see why so many in NZ rate the buxton fleet footed express.

Is there a plan in the making to lose by more than 7 points and then ending up in log position 6 - ie below the Cheetahs - which would mean a play-off match against the Brumbies (likely) instead of against the Crusaders?

Sasue The Reds and Rebels are the only Aussie teams named as yet. Could not find anything about the Waratahs and Brumbies yet. Am glad White did not get the Wallabies post - we would find out the Wallabies selections 5 minutes before the matches start. LOL The new Management at the Sharks are equally bad - they suddenly start to name their team later than any other SA side. Arsehole of the week nomination on the horizon. LMAO

Crusaders, Highlanders, Chiefs, Reds, Brumbies, Sharks (shame my team will lose again) Stormers.

And so we await the fat lady singing on Sunday...

Freddie's winners would mean a playoff for the Cheetahs at Moftus, followed by a trip downunder for the winners, where they'll probably end up as losers as the Crusaders push on to yet another title .

@Cross looking furry animal - blobbok

That is not what I really "want" to happen it is just my gut feel.  But then may I ask the question, do you really, really think there is an SA team good enough to win the title?  Man, the Sharks neerly beat the bulle in their own back yard - imagine those pink cows having to fly (with a plane) to NZ to go play in the mud with those big boys.  Nei ek sê djou dissie moonlikie.

i agree mikey, reds look to have done a bit of a dodge with some of their selections, genia and horwil are injured, but the rest of the reds slections looks to have that possible scenario in mind, the reds will have to would have to avoid getting a single bonus point too though.

sharks, waratahs and brumbies have been updated, :o)

all teams have been named except surprise surprise western force who are easily this years least fantasy freindly team.
michela foley has been a bit of a pill for the force in 2013, he didnt let the bulk of his frontline players play against the lions cos he wanted them fresh for the tahs, only to end up getting smashed and now hes saying the force dont need someone like bieber??? o_O pffft, whatever, force have been useless this and someone like beiber is exactly who they need.

folau must be still injured, am very curious to see if he will make the wallabies sqaud, cos ewan, jake, damien and micheal all said he shouldnt be in the wallabies squad in the memo that was leaked.

Can - looks like you're in good shape and have plenty of trades left to make those 9 changes and you'll have the benefit of knowing the exact matchups at that point so it will be easier to pick the players you think will make the next round

My roster (with 22 trades left):

Fourie

Flynn

Simmons

Whitelock

Read

Vito

Carter

Barrett

Ranger

Crotty

Piutau

Savea

Very tempted to switch out Piutau but he was so consistent before the Test break that I may give him the benefit of the doubt and save the trade. Ranger at outside center instead of wing should get more ball so hopefully will do better.

What do we know and what don't we know. We do know he identities of the top 6 teams - we do know that the teams no 1 and 2 will not play next week. We do know that the Cheetahs will be in the play-offs - but they have a bye this week - so no Cheetahs can be in the TEST RUGBY squad. Based on the above - I tried to identify the team likely to play in the final round as well as the play-offs with virtually a 99% certainty of going through to the semis and probably also the finals - and voila here is my Test Rugby side for this Round - leaving me with 14 Transfers for the future:- FR Bismarck du Plessis FR Corey Flynn LK Eben Etzebeth LK Sam Whitelock LF Luke Braid LF Kieran Read HV Dan Carter HV Morne Steyn CT Rene Ranger CT Ryan Crotty OB Tom Marshall OB Israel Dagg I am pretty sure I am well-covered for this week and the play-offs and will only have to make 4 changes to cater for the play-offs. The wheels will fall off if the Crusaders loses next week - but I am bargaining they would go through to the finals. It may be stupid - but that's the way I see it.

You're gambling, Mike. You will have 10 trades left after the first round.  Even if the Crusaders win, you may have to make 3 or 4 changes leaving you 5 or 6 for the finals. Could be close.

the only chnages i made this week were for players that werent playing and i subbed in players i expect to play next few rounds, mainly from the crusaders, but i just realised that if the crusaders win with a bonus point and the chiefs lose with out getting any bonus poinys, crusaders finish on top of the NZ conference, wouldnt that be a trip??? o_O

my team though for testrugby,,,
FR: deon fourie, hika elliot
LK: brodie retallick, sam whitelock
LF: kerean read, elliot dixon
HV: aaron cruden, daniel carter
CT: ryan crotty, bundee aki
OB: ben smith, charles piutau

have 19 transfers left and i sory of gambled one transfer by bringing in dixon who i will have to get rid of next week for a total of 4 definate transfers and another possible minimu 4 too.
time to play scrooge mcduck and the grinches love child with my transfers, hope the dixon one dosent bite me back on the butt, but pretty exciting none the less, :o)
