And especially to the fantasy competitions. Problem is the cheap banker of most of us last year - Labuschagne - will be anything but cheap - likely to be bloody expensive next year. But there may be another banker in Pieter-Steph du Toit, who should be quite cheap. And then also my other favourites Steven Luatua and Charles Piutau.
Props would include a cheapish Malherbe and James Slipper - always good for Super 15.
Hookers will be expensive - Bismarck, Strauss and Moore.
Locks : Du Toit. Etzebeth, Whitelock - sine they are in different teams Etzebeth and Du Toit would be my first choice.
Loosies - other than Labuschagne - there is a whole lot to look at, Sam Cane, Ardie Savea, Kieran Reid, Fourie (if listed as a loosie), Michael Hooper, Steven Luatua (if listed as a loosie)
Scrummies - here I have no outright favourites
Flyhalfs - Probably Dan Carter as a banker - if his form holds up
Centers - Always my weak link - since so many are listed in other positions. A cheap buy could be Paul Jordaan - under White he could really shine. Will have to see how selections go - but definitely no Conrad Smith - got punished too much last year.
Outside backs - Ben Smith, Israel Folau, Willie le Roux, SP Marais (Cheap proposition), Gerald Anscombe (if he is listed as OB), Charles Piutau
The above would probably be my key selections for next year, but others could be added - depending on performances and team selection.
