That new kid Stephan Lewies is a great find from the Sharks U21 side and Peet Marais is putting in the hard yards.

Good game last night and its good to see the coaches investing in the youngsters. The oldest Bulls forward was probably the skipper at 24 and in the backs they were all in their early 20's except for Ndunagne.

Same can be said of the Sharks who's back row and Ndunagne in the backs were the only older boys on the park.

Its healthy for SA rugby

The Sharks - Bulls game was really frustrating to watch - poor ball handling was a problem and that also applies to the locks and in some way to the loosies as well.  Bulk they certainly have - but unless they learn how to play rugby - the low skill set will always be a problem.

And then there is the question of discipline.   Tell me - has Deysel got any brain or is he just plain stupid.  The same goes for Willemse.

Another good contra indication from ou maaaikie as Deysel had agreat gamefro the sharks and the yellow was unfortunate. One wonders how much better Qlberts is when compared to Alberts.
cant say I was overley impressed by marais - why the excitement from snapster other than marais being a young player of course.Bulle should not be too concerned. They should  do well next year.

Did you watch the match - it really was a comedy of errors.

By the way - is Deysel a candidate  for yellow card of the year award.   He collects them  like it is unbelievable.   Am trying to make it a crd a match.

We probly want a faster loosie to join Louw and Vermulen but if another powerhouse loosie then deysel could be considered. At least he does get stuck in.
Mike the sharks got lucky and the bulle could easily have won. This young bulle side will do well in a year or two.
I note that Marcell van Der Merwe gave Herbst a worms eye view of Loftus. That black hooker for the Bulle although not big is at least quick and does actually play. Keeping an eye on him. Owen Meany must have been gutted re that last sharks penalty! Can the bulle still make the semis?

Mike stop speaking kak, just because Peet Marais had the ball dislodged does not mean the whole team had an issue with ball in hand.

Yes Beenkop, Marcel v/d Merwe gave Herbst a snot klap as did Frik Kirsten with Chadwick.

Some had Herbst as future Bok, he got even worse a klap from Kitshoff earlier in the season. Herbst does not have enough grunt and bulk.

Ney Moz, Steph du Toit should be Etzebeth's partner today and for a good 10 years to come.

Young Lewies looks good but he is no Etzebeth or PSDT......these two are special
