Amazon looking to bid for Rugby rights ?

It appears that Amazon may be looking to steal the rights to SAANZAR rugby from Sky TV.IIt may well be whats needed to kick the NH billionaires in their thie ving nuts eh ? Interesting times ahead...

 Man Amazon is an amazing success story. If I get more access to games I'm all for it, call me selfish if you like, lol
Yeah Wardad, it would be good if it resulted in more money flowing to SH and we could keep more of our players.

You are going to need to kick start the interest in SH rugby first. Nobody would invest good money into a sport played in front of empty stadiums. If you fill the stadiums again, you'll find that you can actually pick and choose between investors. That is the reason why the European clubs have the money to attract SH players.

 Last I checked the USA was in the NH too.

 DB, their global so if they can create more of a market in the SH all the better.

How big is the average NH stadia - they have the total capacity of about half of most of the major SH stadia.   So how\can you come up with your normal BS?   You must give the total seat capacity of the stadia and then indicate the occupation to arrive at your statement - but that is obviously beyond your limited brain capacity.  
It is not only the stadia capacity - it is the viewership that counts with the operators and we know that most NH watchers watch soccer and not rugby.

Sadly the experience with all these media giants is they have no staying power. For a while here in the States Fox Sports provided decent rugby coverage. Now it's ESPN, but only via the internet. This has to be controlled by the Rugby Associations....to sell rights only to outlets that are contractually committed to airing the material.

 At least Sky TV is a tv network and they are in their regular trade line when they bid for rugby broadcast fees.

Acquisition by a conglomerate like Amazon means it is just one trade chip beside other acquisitions and beside their main line in business.

SH rugby could disappear, it wont affect Amazon core business, contrary to TV networks.

Ag gaan pis man. There is a big difference between televising a game in front of a capacity crowd at the Madejski holding twenty odd thousand and a game in front of 10,000 people at Newlands. In any case, you wouldn't want to go into this and get embarrasses again, do you?

 Looking at SR, the play off games were not played at full capacity.

This is not the case in the NH. There is a habit of moving to a bigger stadium for the final game.

SH rugby work at a serious overcapacity. For the large majority of games.

A firm will prefer to show a competition that is well organised with games played in crowded stadiums.

 Sky is hemorrhaging badly...there has been plenty of articles lately where customers have been venting their spleens if you read the comments sections

when were there 10 000 spectators at  Newlands for a Super Rugby game you stupid dud?   The problem is that you are too stupid to understand what norms are used by TV stations and the4 argument on which you base your normal rank stupidity is definitely not one of those.   Game attendance have nothing to do with it - viewership counts in that case.
