That was foolish from a senior player - call for a run and then took up De Bruin's running line and ran straight into De Bruin. That was idiotic and not expected from a player like Amla .

CM whatever u do, do not ever point a finger at Amla.
He is the mainstay of the Proteas.
His batting and general cricket skills are a thing of the past.
Time to drop the peanut.
Plus the midget managed to score 1.....what a joke.

Our site dictator will obviously say I am wrong in my interpretation and that De Bruin is to blame. So I accept y our opinion on the issue.

OuMaaik, you're right to say that you're wrong ..... when the ball is struck behind the nonstrike batsman then the call is made by the batsman on strike ..... De Bruin should've put his head down & completed the run...... instead he turned his head following the ball. Sure Amla was complicit but the chief blame rests with De Bruin .

But Amla took up the line De Bruin had to run to the danger end and bumped into him - making it impossible for De Bruin to even run.
