This old bugger is so intent on discrediting members that he does not realize how stupid he really is.   He thus display an absolute lack o knowledge about rugby and it toally igmnorant about player performances.

The above is obvious - but is further illustrated by the following contribution I made in January 2013 and whisch he looked up in an effort to discredit me:-

"I think that the following are going to come through in the Under 20 WC, the CC nd even in Super 15 and we may see some new faces in the Springboks as well:-

  *   Timo Swiel - the real ball sense wiz kid

  *   Jan Serfontein - top quality World class player

  *    Raymond Rhule - top future wing

 *     Pat Howard - speed and strength combined

 *     Paul Jordaan - the cleverest center in SA

 *     Damian de Allende - he has it all

 *     Cobus Reinach - this one is a future scrummie

 *     Wiaan Liebenberg - the real deal

 *     Ryno Elstadt - a hard player already - watch him in 2013

 *     Arno Botha Watch him this year - top quality

 *     Pieter-Steph Du Toit - combined with Etzebeth - the best future locks combination ever

 *     Steven Kitshoff - the real deal prop of the future

 *     Frans Malherbe - the one to watch

The following youngsters have already arrived:=

 *     Jaco Taute - the future miracle full back

 *     Pat Lambie - the real deal with brilliant rugby brain

 *     Johan Goosen -  Real star quality

 *     Marcell Coetzee - top player already

 *     Eben Etzebeth - the best lock in the world

As a team the above would beat most rugby teams in world rugby - so the present Springbok players must watch out - they are under serious threat from the above.   Wish they would play them in a trial match against the present Springboks and see what happens.   Without their present Juniors they may just get a whopping."

So lets look at the names listed:-

Under 29 WC in 2013

Swiel was selecte d- but turned down selection

CC Compeition

Pat Howard

Wiaan Liebenberg

Super 15

Ryamond Rhule

Pqaul Jordaan

Damian de Allende   *

Cobus Reinach

Reinhardt Elstadt     #

Steven Kitshoff

*   Damian de Allende was selected for the Springbok team in 2014

#   The old far t does not even know the bname of the player

Springbok

Arno Botha

Pieter-Steph du Toit

Frans Malherbe

The Springboks listed by me already selected were listed above as well.

I must have been brilliant - I was not wrong in a single case of the listed players.   So thnaks old fart for reminding me of that posting.

Now remember - to identify players that will develop further takes knowledge of the game - not being stuck on has-beens and being aware about the issue of peak performance and declining performance with the need for player change.

Ceradunce - aka zeromoron -  aka Dofdoos
The only things you ever post on thi site is responses to what I wrote - mostly idiotic ones at that - criticism of indivdual players you do not like and praise songs for other players - mostly thoroughly discredited ones.
When you try and gpo outside of those topics -you make an utter fool of yourself.
Mozart on the otherhand are worse than you are in respect of his constant -
*   efforts to dicredit other site members;*   his constant harping on players he does not like - in that respect he does not mind to lie and misrepresents facts; and*   his praise singing for players - especiaklly once they are over 30 years of age - without regard to their actual performances on the field of play..
That makes you two the real dunces on this site.  If you could only come up with balanced voiews on players and stop the personal attacks - it would help
Mozart went dead quiet on this thread after he realized he made an utter fool of himself when quoting the above-mentioned posting.   He is so rugby ignorant that he could not understand the actual forecasts iro of players.
The issues you harp about and mentioned abovoe is so ignorant and useless - one cannot discuss things with a fool - he does not realize when the topic is exhausted - because of idiocy on his part.

Ou Maaikie, you have missed the other posts that I made because you were too busy ducking an diving your own balls-ups.  I have told you numerous times. Let's just finish the "outstanding issues" and we can move on.

This is a rather  funny thread. After denying he ever said these things...OOm is now seeing brilliance in statements like :

"Jacob Taute....the new miracle fullback"

But seriously OOm the memory loss and sudden flashes of temper are consistent with dementia, have yourself checked.

Granted I forgot about that thread - but I do not live in the past like you do - and I try and adjust my thinking on matters when circumsatnces change.
Face facts - you tried to descrdeit me with that post form the past and then found egg all over your face.
Please note that the egg is further enhanced by your reference to Taute.   He was excellent at full back for the LIons in 2011 and 2012.   Please note that I never supported him at center.   Please also note the date of the posting - as well as the fact that Taute was injured and virtually nevr played in 2013.
What made it so funny is that you have completely lost the giist of the discussion in the item and did not realise that it covers various levels of play.
The other thing is that you do not understand the basic princples of performance by players in matches - so you lost it completley.   Now go back to your standard level of BS posting on this site.

What are the basic principles of performance....enlighten me. But do only that, don't slope off to a bunch of irrelevant insults. Tell us simply, what are these principles?

The basic princple is to asses a player's performance over sa series of games - avoid single incidents like the plague and look at overall performance.   It is also unwise to assess perofrmances  based on one match - look at those over a seroes pf matches.
Assess the following in a player -
*   ball skills *   decision making*   hamdling of pressure*   ball carrying abilities, inclusive of ability to break lines and tackles *   defense - with special reference to quality of tackles*   acrumming capacity - Tight 5*   Line-out performance -  Tight 5*   mauls capacity - Tigt 5*   ball protection and recovery
The tight 5 operformances are improtant - if the Tight 5 produces unsatisfacotry results - determine whether an indivual is rresponsible.
The essence is to look at a series of matches and th8us determine trends in performance.  That is the serious issue.   If trends are noticeable confirm and see whether statistics substantiate the trends.
At all times be objective and see both the positive and negative side of players..  Take into account p[laying conditions and see what can impact on player performacnes.

The following are for instance examples:-
Morne Steyn
*   developed a tendency to miss finding touch with penaltyy kicks - happened regularly in matches*   missed tacklle ratio is very high and there are serious question marks about  his sdefense. *   kicking -out-of hand i:  Too many inaccuracies*   Postive - excellent goal kicking
Jan  Serfontein (at 13)
*   sound defense*   Unproductive in attacking play*   reading of the game questionable
*   Ball protection and recovery?
If you find that your own assessments may be questionable - test it against available data so as to confirm your assessment and avoid going off the rails.
You can assess each player and find both his strong points and weak points a fter looking at a series of games - not indicvdual games.   A player can have an off day and that may impact on personal performances.   When players has a series of off days - there is a serious problem with that player.
Very basic - not all that complicated.

Ou Maaikie, you are the biggest hypocrite on this board. You accuse others of exactly what you, yourself, are constantly busy doing. How many flaming threads have you not started directed at me? In addition, there are numerous examples of posts that I made which had nothing to do with you, only to find you jumping in with one insult after the other. I am not the guilty one here. Let me give you a few examples.

1. The entire Heineken Cup issue started off with this thread that you started:
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=7563
This was how you started the thread:
"The village idiot Ceradyne keep on telling us how strong the French and English Clubs participating in the Heineken Cup are.    When I say the are somewhere between Vodacom Cup and Group 1 CC level he goes ballistic."

2. You had your but kicked and instead of letting go, you waited a while and started a new thread. This one:
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=7834
One of the phrases in the OP reads:
"We have been widely entertained by the village idiot Ceradyne about how much  stronger English rugby is compared to SA rugby - but it seems that on club level they play second fiddle to French and Irish clubs. "

Once again you got your arse kicked with the same results. You disappearing like a wet dream.

3. http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=7392
We both posted on the above thread. Not a single post of mine directed at you.

4. There was a thread about fooball.
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=10041
Not a single post of mine directed at or about you. Then you decide to jump in with this:
"Ceradyne
Obvious question.  Do you undertand any game?   I have  seen none of that on this site at all - that being the reason for the question."

5. There was a thread about the earnings of rugby players:
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=9344
Everything was civil and we exchanged info on the issue. Then you decide to come in with:
"CeradyneYou have no idea about what SA sportsmen earns - so to compare Habana's income with that of office workers, etc. is real BS.   And your contention that IPL is no cricket is a joke - the players do not share your opinion.   They love the lolly - even if it is based on showmanship. "

But that was not where it ended. You tried me look like a fool who do not know what the players earn. And then the bombshell. You did not know either, poepol.

I do not know what they earn - and an idiot like you would not know either.  Your ostrich attitude is a joke - do you ever think or is that single brain cell of yours malfunctioning again?

And then, on that same thread I gave you an idea of their earnings.

6. Another flaming thread, titled: "The team advocated by the two Leading Dunces on this site.over the last 6 months"
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=10483
You are actually actively looking for confrontation, doos.

7. Another flaiming thread with the same intent as the previous one.
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=11098

8. I posted something TIC about JJ Engelbrecht on this thread:
http://www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm?threadid=7244
This was what I said, and it was not even directed at you:

A girl

This moron Ceradyne cannot open his eyes or better still cannot undertand that he constantly makes an as of himself.

Those were just a few examples. There are lots more that I could have quoted.

As far as the "threads from the past" are concerned, you had your arse kicked one each and everyone of them and you disappeared from each of them. If you do not agree, we could always revisit those threads and discuss the outcome of the arguments on them. What say you?

Better start sweeping in front of your own front door, poepol.
