As much as I think Coetzee is useless, I do agree with his sentiments that SA has not embraced the modern game as well as NZ, Aus and Eng.
yes, we have had fantastic patches since 1992, but overall its been very below par for what used to be the best rugby nation on the planet.

What I am looking forward to is seeing if the new coaching aquisitions will bring anything positive to the party.

 By the way Chippo I agree with you on that one.  However, that is nothing new - in the 2007 WC campaign Eddie Jones was brought n to mentor - you guess it - A Coetzee.
It is obvious that Coetzee learnt nothing from that mentorship - as is evident iro his playing style as used in the case of the Stormers and now the Springboks.   Poor Franco Smith has a hopeless task - he is as unlikely to succeed as Jones was in the case of Coetzee..
So if the problems persist Smith will get the blame and Stick would laugh all the way to the bank. 
This talkshop will not solve the Springbok problems - it may even worsen those.

I do not think the talking shop will result in anything positive.   The coaches are not going to change the playing style f their franchises to fit in with the Jake-balling oetzee seems to favour.   They may say they will - but they will not implement it. 
So we have a case where talk is cheap - money buys the whiskey.
