I can remember a very similar post when Luke Watson, your all time rugby hero won some Super Rugby award.......and we all know how that ended. Stephanie has had a good year.....finally.....but he isn't a test flank. He will have to convince Erasmus that he is our best 5 lock. Time will tell.
But really I thought Notshe was your man for Bok flank?

Dim-Sum, not sure if you missed my previous posting where I described you as someone who is not intelligent enough to understand anything I'd be dumb enough to tell him, but the fact that you're still trying to engage me makes me suspect you either missed it or didn't understand it.
I wouldn't "challenge" anyone who is so stupid that he doesn't understand something as basic and as simple as sarcasm. I'd feel like a bully.
If you'd like to revisit your disgustingly sycophantic and servile comments on the various "Vinny Vunipola" threads and tell the truth instead , "now is your chance"!

Still trying to deny you don't understand the transfer laws? And still dissembling...... afraid to engage Augie in a factual debate....just another non factual assertion. Coward.

From Clevermike:

Playing Du Toit at loosie is not a good idea - but loosie selection has all been up to maggots anyway. The problem is that loosie selection in SA takes no cognition of pace - so we have no cover for any faster opposition loosies out wide. This is further complicated by the slow loosies being also poor insofar as reading of the game is concerned and they have very little idea about breakdown ball protection and recovery.
Problem is that if a 100 meter run for Vermeulen, Louw and Alberts is organized Du Toit would beat Alberts by 30 meters, while beating Louw and Vermeulen by 25 meters distance. At least Du Toit is athletic - which none of the three mentioned loosies are.
Seems to me the Coaches has not learnt the basic fact that loosies are loosies and not an extension of the Tight 5. The Stormers should pick up their loosie selection and get it right. Carr was a one series wonder and is no up to standard anymore.
The problem for the Springboks can be solved easily, The best loosie combination in the rugby championship would be Coetzee at 8, Labuschagne at 7 and Kriel at 6. Against the slower NH teams the selection could be different. I would still select Vemeulen at 8 - but after his neck injury and his holiday in France he as for his club not 10% of the player he used to be. Also getting on in years and some players loose the plot faster than others.
In any event - the Stormers made a fool of themselves by letting Cloete go to the Kings. He and Kriel are by some distance the best two open-side flanks in SA at present.

Sigh . . . Moffie, try to understand something here. I'll try to make it simple and I'll try not to use any hard words . . .
Your newest little Servile Gimp's responses on the hilarious "Vinny Vunipola" threads tell me that he either doesn't understand sarcasm or else he's so eager to ram his little snout up your fat and wrinkled arse that he'll make a fool of himself anyway. Either way, why would I bother with him? Why would I waste any time on someone who is either terminally stupid or a sickening suck-up?
You may well be asking yourself the question why I'm bothering with you and your strident and sanctimonious responses because you're clearly equally stupid . . . well, that's because I'm prepared to throw you the occasional bone, Moffie, because - believe it or not - I actually have a tiny little bit of pity for you because I happen to know just how much bitterness and unbridled hatred you feel for me after of all the times I've schooled you, humiliated you and exposed you for the pompous and ignorant old twat that you are.
Does that make sense? Are you nodding your head, Moffie? Do you understand?
Good . . . you can run along now, Moffie . . . and don't forget to send your former Alpha Gimp an email or a Whatsup or something because I'm starting to worry he might have had a heart attack or a stroke. Off you go . . . there's a good little Moffie . . .

Servile gimp...ram his little snout up your fat and wrinkled arse...why should I bother with him...terminally stupid.....sickening suck-up....strident and sanctimonious....equally stupid....unbridled hatred (there's something new)......I've schooled you .....humiliated you....pompous and ignorant old twat...you can run along now Moffie.....Alpha Gimp....there's a good little Moffie.
....
I guess that pretty much sums up every post you have made for the last 18 years. I have it safely tucked away just in case you forget an adjective, next time you have a hissy fit.

Yes, Pieter-Steph plays with the kind of heart we want to see in our Springboks.
I'd be more than happy for RG Snyman to be given an extended run in the side so we can see what he's got. We've seen what Etzebeth has got and it's not quite matching all the hysterical hype.

Can anyone else hear a vague yapping noise like a very angry little doggie demanding attention?

It would be good to not let Elizabeth think he is guaranteed of starting. He plays better when he has not played the last 10 tests in a row. Perhaps see how he does off the bench.
RJ Snyman 1st test was amazing, but since then while he has been good- has not replicated the same form.

Ja well, let's give him the same opportunities that Etzebeth was given and see if he can step up to the plate.
Question is, do we persist with Pieter-Steph at flank (which keeps Jean-Luc du Preez out the team) or do we play him at lock and let Mostert, Etzebeth and Snyman fight it out to be his lock partner?

There's that same plaintive yapping noise again. Poor little thing. Hope it gets the attention it's looking for because this could get annoying if it carries on.

Not saying he's the finished article Pakie, just saying he's shown enough to warrant a run in the team.
We'll only know if he has big game temperament if we play him in a big game.

Well Pakie in fairness to Snyman, Stephanie was Koch's pod support and he tripped over and actually pulled Koch down....his hand pulling down Koch's right arm is clearly visible. Sure Kolisi and Snyman rucked feebly....but Stephanie was supposedto be there to to clean out, instead he was in the deck.

So Snyman gets pinged and Stephanie, the main culprit gets a pass....no wonder the ABs see us as mentally weak.

Agree with your summation Pakie and Augie is right about Willemse's positional gaffe. Plum also....the players were sent on without any sensible mission.

Willemse is a flyhalf....we have no idea what sort of fullback he will be.
