interest to me is the matchup between the Brumbies vs Waratahs. Why, because the 'Tahs are now at full strength and played well against the Crusaders while the Brumbies, 2011 cellar dwellars, are a vastly improved side playing entertaining rugby, the type of rugby any union fan would pay to see. I also enjoy the fact  that they, like the Cheetahs are a no name brand classic example of what can be achieved with good coaching, discipline, fitness and self belief. I'd be surprised to see them beat the 'Tahs but there'll be some egg dripping all the way back to Sydney if they did considering the amount of stars the 'Tahs possess.

Denny, the Brumbies may be a no name brand but they have good players and some very good backs. Certainly are fit as we saw when they blew the bulle away in the last quarter - at altitude nogal plus a long trip.

Not a goodreflection on the bulle for sure. No wonder Jake was chuffed.

They're good because they've been well coached, lets be honest, had they been playing for the Bulls they'd be coached the most basic of lessons and that's to kick the leather off the ball. As a fan of all SAFFA rugby that game embarassed me like no other game has for a while.

For all those that went on and on about Jake White and his lack of ability to adjust to the modern game, well where are you now? He has made a team with only a handfull of recognised players into a truly competitive outfit. They are playing exciting rugby, and as I said before the season kicked off, he is a smart bugger and he will figure out a way to make them competitive, and that is exactly what he has done. This game between the Tahs and Brumbies will be the true test for Jakes team and their chances in the Auzzie conference, but I think the Brumbies will take it. Should be a cracker.

Winning the Oz conference will be a fine achievement and one wishes Jake well. He has suffered a lot of nonsense.

But please Jake don't suggest  victor as an option for the Boks - thats being vindictive!!

You've touched a raw nerve my friend with "where are you now"? I'm not expecting any shift from the Jake White hate brigade except to see more egg-nogg dripping down their red faces everytime the Brumbies give credibility to Jake as a coach. One only has to read the article on the  home page of this site to read about the players themselves being delighted to re-new contracts with the Brumbies and singing the praises of JW as the main reason for staying.

Case closed.
