Another horrible Joubert mistake in the 7s

Craig awards an Argentine try when it seems very obvious the player lost the ball crossing the line......then awards a penalty try to the US for a very marginal high tackle.
And then having almost won the game the US kicks directly into touch.
Craig just can't stay out of the limelight.

 This from the Goff Rugby Report.....what is wrong with Joubert? He seemed to be determined to confirm his original call

Referee Craig Joubert consulted the TMO for a knock-on but didn't call it an obvious knock on and gave the try. It was controversial to say the least as it looked like a clear knock on. The conversion missed but Argentina led 12-0.

 Craig Jouber t hs been corrupted by the kiwis. Corruption causes confusion of mind and blurring of reality. Hence we see many confused Kbbs here. Bwahahhahahahahaha

 Nah ... he's just a poor referee ... not fit to officiate an important match.


 

 CC he is a good ref...the thing the real problem with Craig is that he does his job with integrity beyond the common sense first perception of rugby onlookers who really are ignorant...that's why he is respected as a professional and not a herd (mass) decision maker.

A really tough job...doesn't go with the flow but does his job...he is not perfect , no one is but you win tough duels by not making mistakes so you deserve to lose...if Yachvilli and Trin'Duc converted their opportunities...The 2011 WC would have landed with the Les Bleus...with no coup de tat in NZ ask Cloudy.

 He has blundered big time in big games. I'm sure he is a nice guy.....but he was literally spoon fed his mistake yesterday, and he arrogantly chose to ignore the evidence. I can forgive an honest mistake, I find it harder to forgive an arrogant one....shades of Scotland.

 Well Sebastien ... not sure how you can speak of integrity and assign it to Joubert. 
He robbed the French in 2011 and he did the same to the Scots in the last WC ... both deliberate.
He bows to crowd pressure and seems a little spineless when it comes to making hard decisions ... no matter what's on the big screen.
I don't rate him as a corrupt ref ... just one not suited to senior level rugby and from what I can tell even 7's is beyond him. 
He's consistently poor ... and I'm rather surprised they haven't removed him from all international matches.
One can understand making a mistake in a match (he is after all human) but to repeatedly mess it up so badly makes one wonder whether he knows the laws of rugby or if he's just incompetent. 
Either way ... we can do without his foolishness.

Many many moons ago, there was a game between WP and either Border or SWD. I am pretty sure it was the latter, though. It was a night game and there was some rain involved as well, IIRC. SWD (or Border) were busy causing a major upset. They were trashing a full strength WP team. They took the lead early in the game and never took their feet off the pedal. Suddenly, in the last quarter of the game, and well in the lead on the scoreboard, the penalties started pouring down on SWD. The next moment it was yellow card time. Shortly afterwards it was another one and the leading team were down to 13 men. The ref? Guess who.

 Mr Joubert is a g entleman. Leave him alone.
