A story smelling of corruption, causes"teams’ underachievements, rising costs, low income and dwindling [crowd] attendance"

The noose is tightening, rugby must exist on merit in SA. Win or die.

The fact that even the Kings have not been forced into extinction has to tell good old Trad something about SA Rugby.

As soon as I loaded this page- Google Translate popped up and said: would you like to translate this page. Didn't realise Google can now translate gibberish.....

True it is another franchise that is going bust- however, such is the case in Africa with many companies. If rugby goes down the toilet, so will many other companies.

This franchise is cheap to upkeep and serve different purposes: one is to keep up the quota policy con and more importantly, is used as a pipe line to transfer wealth from Pro 14 to SARU as this franchise will not upgrade their roster. A cheap way to convey wealth.

It does not compare with other franchises that are supposed to be powerhouse and the ones running benefits.

Like claiming that a minor front bank that is kept running is enough to ignore the bankrupcy of a major bank.

And yes, it tells about SA rugby: a minor club is used to prop bigger clubs. A recipe for disaster.
