Another successful Steyn intervention

I do not want to prick your bubble - but both Naas Botha and Mallett was during the half time discussion extremely critical of Steyn's distribution.   They used graphics to explain why.  He made skip passes to the wing when there was a four over three overlap  situations on three occassions where the passes should have been ordinary ones which would have been of great value insofar as attacking rugby was concerned.  By making the skip passes he effectively forced the wing onto the sideline and instead of a good attack - the passes neutralised the backline completely. 
Secondly - Steyn was NOT the MOM - Sithole was - so I am not sure where you got the MOM story from.  
I do not think that Mallett and Naas Botha share your enthusiasm about Steyn at flyhalf and I rather believe their evaluation than yours.   His only asset remained his long distance goal kicks - and they emphasized that - but there is serious doubts about his ability to read the game properly and make proper decisions in the relevant regard.
Please note - criticism did not emanate from me - it is those of Mallett and Nass - so please  do not do your ordinary and become personal again.

Hell - but you are stupid.  After the match the MOM was interviewed on TV and it was NOT Steyn who was interviewed as MOM - it was Sithole.  I opened my eyes and saw it.  You believe that you can insult people at will by writing  bullshit on this site.

Look you incredibly stupid man, I never said Steyn was the MOM......I simply quoted the Rugby 365 conclusion and they didn't make him the MOM either. Can anybody possibly be thicker.

 Steyn was doing allot of skip passes, on the day perhaps not the best option- or he could have varied it up a bit. 
What was Hiemaar Willams thinking? Finally getting onto the pitch and getting skipped out everytime.

Neither Streyn nor Mvovo was MOM and the fact that you quote that piece of bullshit shows how fervently you believe on rubbish dished up by some rugby writers.   That piece of blarney you quoted are not what really h appened and you now are completely silent about the comments of Mallett and Naas Botha on TV.   Do you believe the rugby writer or do you believe the two experts I mentioned?

Skip passess as a variation can be a good thing - but not all the time.   The problem with skip passes is that they can be intercepted more easily than ordinary passes and that makes the need for rare use and not regular use more apparent. 
What upset Mallett and Naas Botha was the usage of skip passes when their were overlaps to be exploited by usage of ordinary passes.   Skip pases in this case destroyed excellent attacking opportunities.
I shall check the match again - but I think the skip passes did not survive into the second half of the game.  Somebody got a tongue-lashing from White about that one during the break,
By the way I always maintained that Steyn has a speed problem.   It became clear today again.  He had a three meter advance on Skosan - yet over 25 meters Skosan beat him by more than a meter.

I qiuote the above how crazy tha praise song by the writer was.    Steyn is the MOM - but then he is not  since the writer claims Mvovo is.   How many MOM's were there in  that game?   More than 2 in fact since the actual MOM was neither of the two.
Look bloody idiot that rugby writer went on to praise the distribution of Steyn  - which according to Mallett and Naas Botha  not up to standard and you have the audacity to quote that on this site .  What idiocy - and the question remains did you actually saw the game or are  you just aping the journalist?
In fact it was another nondescript performance where -
*  he was slightly better than normal in ball retention - he only handed possession over once - not mpore than 3 timeres per match as per normal;
*   he missed less tackles than is standard in his case; and
*   his speed deficiency was illustrated more clearly than it was recently.   when he had a more than 2 meter advantage over Skosan - but  lost the 25 meter race to get to the ball  by nearly 2 meters. 
However, your prayers  wont materialize.   If Zweilinga is injured - White will not play Steyn at flyhalf.  He has seen Steyn is a square peg in a round hole.
