Ex- sarugbymag

Flip van der Merwe will start in the second row for the Springboks in the quadrangular series decider at Loftus on Saturday.

In other changes to the XV that beat Scotland, Francois Louw is back at openside flank after getting married last weekend, while Willem Alberts and Siya Kolisi have been bracketed at No 7 (Alberts will start if declared fit).

The backline will be unchanged should Jean de Villiers pass his fitness test. If De Villiers can’t play, Jan Serfontein will start at inside centre, with Juan de Jongh coming onto the bench. Adriaan Strauss will then become South Africa’s 55th Test captain and Bryan Habana will take over the vice-captaincy.

Springboks – 15 Willie le Roux, 14 Bryan Habana, 13 JJ Engelbrecht, 12 Jean de Villiers (c)/Jan Serfontein, 11 Bjorn Basson, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Ruan Pienaar, 8 Pierre Spies, 7 Willem Alberts/Siya Kolisi, 6 Francois Louw, 5 Flip van der Merwe, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Adriaan Strauss, 1 Tendai Mtawarira.
Subs: 16 Bismarck du Plessis, 17 Trevor Nyakane, 18 Coenie Oosthuizen, 19 Juandre Kruger, 20 Siya Kolisi/Marcell Coetzee, 21 Piet van Zyl, 22 Pat Lambie, 23 Jan Serfontein/Juan de Jongh.

I suspect SharkTwat is just looking for attention again and these multiple threads on the same topic are because this board is the only place he ever gets noticed.

Rooinek - a 50 year old man that has created a childish name for everyone. Boring.

Forgive the guy. They got no Plum and no alcohol at rugby games. Hard times ahead for them.

Not like the useless Frankenstein monsters is doing any better. Sharks are good at giving guys from the EP bursaries without getting their ID books. Only to find out later those 25 year olds did well against 17/18 year olds.
