I saw the article on Anscombe.  Playing for the Welsh he would at least have a decent forward pack that would provide him with enough half0decent balls,   The Chiefs tight 5 this year was pathetic this year,   

I can understand about Anscombe - his mother is Welsh and his father is tied up with Irish rugby - so they  are living in Ireland,   He was a prime candidate to move to eb enarer his family and the Irish girls are beautiful 0 so lets give the guy a chance with the fair sex as well.  

crudz and barret have pretty much ensured the All Blacks flyhalf mortage is locked up for the next 8 years easy.

he could have been a real asset to the All Blacks, but his time would have been far and few inbetween.

but the NZ rugby empire is strong, how many NZ born players are ion teams throughout the world??? o_O
no surprises that our players are in high demand, even our second string players are world class.

u think that hansen will leave the coaching gig after the RWC, especially with a lions tour in 2017??
im 99.9% surre that hansen will be here until the next RWC.

rennie could have stayed with the chiefs and really build that dynasty into somet hing like the crusaders had, but now that depends on who the chiefs bring in for after the rennie/smith era.

rennie is going to be in hot demand world wide, i mean chiefs are favourites or one of to win the 2014 spXV.
if rennie does win in 2014, he would have accomplished in three years what both all the aussie clubs and all the saffa accomplished in two decades, three super rugby titles.

the Boks would benefit greatly from rennies coaching experience after 2015 when meyer losses his job, but luckily theyre not smart enough to do whats best for SA rugby, hopefully white gets reinstated to further reinforce NZs rugby empire dominance over the greatest No2 team in the world, the Boks.

 Sas...if NZ should fail to win the 2015 RWC then i have no doubt that Hansen will get the boot...otherwiase Rennie with all his coaching credentials is in the commanding position of being able to coach anywhere in the world he likes making a tidy sum and as you say should be in hot demand as are NZ coaches in general...can't see NZ losing next year though so Rennie will probably be lost to NZ unless he takes over the Canes..

 

Like you say we are very healthy in the 10's dept....Sladey has been in fine form lately too for the Crusties and i doubt wether we'll ever see Tom Taylor in an All Black jersey again as Slade has overtaken him... 

 

 Anscombe has only been half the player without Cruden in the backline and the Chiefs will struggle again this week against the Brumbies so re Wales, Anscombe should take this opportunity with both hands and run with it...

 

T Nanai Williams has also been quiet without Crudens cut out passes and deft passes putting players into gaps so a great opportunity for other NZ franchises to catch up while he's out injured..hopefully the Chief's playmaker is back before the Chiefs face the Tahs..he is sorely missed

arguments about hansen are all redundant, cos All Blacks will win the RWC and win comfortably

but considering the hypothetical that the All Blacks dont win, henry has proven that not winning the RWC  doesnt result in an axing, its about whos the best man for the job.

hansens first two years on the job has already secured his fate for life after the RWC, i mean 1 loss in his tenure to date highlighted by a 100% win record for all of 2013, a feat no country has achieved, thats even better then a RWC.
even more impressive is the All Blacks didnt stock their fixtures up with easy beats the way the No2 Boks team did in the same year.

while i rate rennie big time and consider him the logical successor to hansen, he might have to wait til after 2019.
a maximum of 8 years seems the right term for any All Black coach, as long as thery are preforming, which hansen clearly is.

 And how is anything you have all just said not arrogant and disingenuous in the extreme ? What would you be saying if it were me mouthing off about England in the same manner ? ( Something I would never do as it happens, because I am not that rude nor that stupid ) You just can't see it, can you ? It's not even meant with any form of humour. And then you all slag other people off for being arrogant. My goodness me. Words do fail sometimes.

As for players jumping ship and deciding they will play for another Country. Well they are simply the lowest of the low. I actually mean that. No loyalty whatsoever. No pride in who they are or where they come from.
If they happen to have been born to a parents living in another country for a short time and then come back to this country, then that is a different matter. But to parachute in simply because they are NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY for who they want to play for ? Well, that says it all. 
And why do you think anyone can simply say they want to come from one side of the world and will walk straight into a team here ? We've had enough of it and countries like Wales better be careful, Grannygate and all their New Zealand players ( and English and the odd Australian )  who were ineligible wasn't so long ago. If that had been England, we'd have been chucked out of Rugby for years to come. They somehow survived.....as did Scotland, strangely enough. Ireland have had their fair share too.....who can forget their best spoken Captain ever ( I'll let you all figure that one out  ) and, of course, way back in the mists of time, their duel International Mr Brian Smith ( to name but 2 from the very long list ) 

 Rebecca , Warren Gatland the Welsh coach parachuted into Wales and he has become something of a national hero for what he has done for Welsh rugby...no ones complaining about that..

 

.. sounding a wee bit insecure with the thought of Anscombe strengthening the Welsh side...England should'nt be too worried....  but it's just part of the legacy of colonization so blame the colonial masters England for Kiwis being eligible to play for Wales...

 

Sas , did'nt think it would be arrogant for me to suggest NZ could fail in it's bid to win the RWC in 2015 but apparently it is... England or Australia could get lucky...Success is'nt a given , neither is Hansen retaining his role as coach and he could be the one that's made redundant.

Comparing dopey Hansen wih his drunken slurs to a silvery tongued, articulate headmaster like Graham Henry is like comparing apples and oranges so his job would be in jeopardy and a fresh approach may be needed. That's where Rennie and maybe Wayne Smith could fit in. 

 

Remember you're only as good as your last game and the All Blacks almost got rolled in that one by the iRISH... so don't be too cocky mate..
