France has lost their x2 key players: Scrumhalf and flyhalf.... Not to mention some of their other best players. 
Injuries may completely derail their world cup campaign, which is unfortunate . It is good seeing France playing rugby like they used to again.

Certainly takes a lot away from the tournament, if they take the trophy it will be something special.
