Coenie - He could still prove himself, but he needs to play at 1. So yes.Lood - No. Too lazyLappies - NoJantjies - pfffftGoosen - Injuries screwed him initially, but I still think he has something to offer. No I wouldn't want Adi. But if you want to go further back we could come up with more names like Kirchner, Pienaar at flyhalf, Meisiekind, Luke Watson, Kiirchner to name a few.

Pienaar at 10 ahead of useless Morne - yes
Watson as a starter yes
Kirchner was up there, but would not have made my starting side
As for your list damn right I would want Coenie, Lood, Lappies, Goosen, Taute and JJ in the Bok mix..........Coenie is 100 times better than Steenkamp, Lood better than Bakkies and Matfield, Lappies better than Oupa or Schalk, Goosen better than Morne as a 10, Taute better as a 15 option than Goosen and JJ a better 13 than Serfontein who is our best 12 by some distance

Most of the players you mentioed are better than the scraps that was at times included by Meyer. Other are marginal players that would not be first choice players of anybody. Most of the above players were never given a real chance to play - but they will npot let the team down in any event.
Why is your hate list so short. I expected a much longer list given your standard denigaration programme?

The difference OOm is Bakkies, Alberts, Steenkamp have been strong Springbok contributors. The question is whether they have passed it...a decision best left to the coach who has all the testing data. I certainly expect Alberts to be back for the RWC.
But I can understand this upsets you. I remember all those attacks on me about Lomp, Lappies and wee Jordaan. That egg dripping in your eyes can be irritating

I reckon that the reports were way off track. I think Kirchner is far better than some make him out to be and agreed he has been good all year. Why would Meyer drop him and why would he shift Taute given he had one good test and one average test at 13 - continuity dictates that Taute had to stay at 13 and Kirchner at 15, plus de Jongh size is a concern at test level - Meyer knows this

Moffie does that say I would start Kirchner you dumb ass..........the only time Kirchner would have started in my side was when we had injuries. I rated Kirchner, but he was never my first choice, unless injuries dictated.......much like my selection of Olivier

Often my selections are based on what the squad is at the time......I often say, given the squad, my side would be.........
If everyone was fit Kirchner never made my starting side, but he was always good enough as a Bok squad player in his prime.

No Moffie you just need to wake up a little.
I know who makes my starting sides and while I was a Kirchner fan he was never my first choice 15.......much like Olivier was never my starting 12.....but I would have been happy to see them start in the event of an injury.
Kirchner was a Bok squad selection of mine.......you seem to be struggling with this obvious concept.
But let me guess, you know better and will dictate to me who my first choices were or are?
