Right off the bat we're wasting time reviewing an absolute nothing contact.

Farcical yellow for Scarlets.

Dave's man Bronson has a little run from the lineout but Scarlets right over him at the tackle and they win the turnover penalty.

Blair Murray scores for Scarlets after some sustained pressure. Lions allowing their line to fracture.

Bronson throws a wild pass into touch.

Good passage now for the Lions. They get a penalty way back, not sure if they made an error because they were rumbling towards the line.

Lions making hard work of it. Dominant field position and attack but they can't get it over the line. Quick tap now. JC Pretorius pushed over the line but not sure he got it down. Looks held up. Lots of injury stoppages.

Blair Murray through for his second. Scarlets get back in Lions territory for the first time in a long while and instantly score.

A Scarlets player on the ground after just about every passage. They already have some reserves on. Gareth Davies this time looking like he's about ready for retirement.

Lions yet again in dominating attacking position but can't get it over the line. Bashing away predictably and then releasing wide where there are only two isolated players. They get a penalty, touch and try to maul.

Head down bash away, no one looking for a quick offload or shift into space. Brute force might get them over eventually but it's tedious going. Ref checking for something now.

Scarlets get a yellow, Lions get a penalty try. 14-7

Wolhuter with an average kick across that just runs into touch.

Bronson again can't find his man with the pass.

Lions pass pass pass down the line, runs out of space, turns over possession. Not a bright idea in sight.

Droppie by Costelow ricochets in right on the hooter, 17-7.

Scarlets have added another try while I was away. 22-7. Costelow now with blood. It's been a strange game, lots of injuries.

Bronson at last lands a pass.

Another long period of attack with the Lions struggling to make headway, then they lose it. Another Scarlets player down.

Finally a simple set move works for the Lions and Kriel is in. Cairns - Horn - Kriel. 22-14

Lions immediately concede a penalty inside their own 22.

Yellow coming for the Lions, Pretorius off.

Lions run it out from inside their own in goal, kick takes them up to halfway.

Bronson overcommits and his man gets outside him. Scarlets should have scored there but they self destruct.

Great take by Venter. Lions attack from deep. Bronson floats a long one to Edwill. Some good offloading but the error comes before the score.

Kriel in again. Lions starting to find the holes now despite being a man down.

22-19 for Scarlets

Blair Murray absolutely monstered by Venter.

None the worse for it Murray makes a sizzling break, Horn gets in between the final pass.

Another Scarlet limps off.

Scarlets 6 Fifita shows a clean pair of heels to the Lions defense before releasing Williams for the try. That might be it.

Howzit Draad. Ja the Lions have the goods but they're not playing it smart. Too much blunt force.

Lions now find touch inside the Scarlets 22 but they don't have the throw. The only throw they have is the last of the dice, hee haw.

Now they have a lineout on the 10m line after a small breakout by Scarlets.

Ruins their chances with a forward pass, Scarlets now on the rampage.
