Struggling Bulls To Get Vermeulen Back | Rugby365

Typical Saffa mentality, as if one man can cast spells of change.

I admire Vermeulen as a good player even at 33.

But one trick ponies cannot create miracles and in any event I think the Bulls may well start to improve. They came only 2 points short of the Blues...hahaha what was the Stompies margin again?

Vermeulen is highly regarded as defence expert and will probably go into couching after retiring as player.

Look how the Stormers pack misses Etzebeth. Vermuelen will be an asset. Make him captain immediately.

What a pity the Bulls lost Lood, Snyman, Jenkins, Pollard, Serfontein, Kriel (Injured) etc. Add others who have left in recent years.

6 quality players back would make Bulls serious title contenders.

Folks underestimate the huge damage to our franchises of these departures.

Definitely Beeno but my heart goes out to the Bulls, they try very hard but with a huge handicap of hasbeens. They still show guts however and don't give up that easily. They could have beaten the Blues however, it was only decided by a last minute penalty that should not have happened.

The Jaguares are an outstanding outfit too especially when they start firing and it's no disgrace to lose to them. I feel the Stormers were lucky to have caught them on a bad wet day. Being L atin people they blow hot and cold similar to French players...when they play their A game they are very difficult to beat.

It's a great pity that the mighty Crusaders never play them at home...it could be a different story in Buenos Aires rather than in Christchurch.

The Super Series set up is a very taxing set-up and it borders on chance more often than not. The luck of the draw so to speak. Some sides get a good run early, some don't.

This is one "old man signing" that I appreciate. Josh Strauss is/was not, watching a BaaBaa's game after the RWC with an eye on him disturbed me, plodding around with no desire to play and little to no communication with his team. The 'experienced' player positives do not apply to him and he wasn't effective in the collisions.
Get Pote out. Get Strauss out. Get Morne out.
