We have seen recently Kenya whip Fiji. The Fiji backs could not get away. That black youngster playing for the Blitzbokke is lightening fast and on a sevens field is devastating. He is off with the junior Bokke so I look forard to seeing how he goes.

The west African blacks are the source of guys who do so well for the States and Jamaica at sprinting. A nice offer of som scholarships etc and bingo.  Do it the kiwi /oz way.

The Boks have produced some brilliant backs of course but a little supplementation starting at Super 15 level  welcome. Help allieviate the player drain to the NH and Japan.

So far with the exception of JP our SA back backs have been too small. We have Rhule (From the North) and Seargel Petersen. Oh if only they were 10 kgs heavier. However when one looks at the Kenyans they have some decent size. Should  we not to be looking at some of these guys. Supplement our sides ala nz and oz rugby colonisers of islander talent. Imagine finding a black diamond at 100 kgs with superb pace.

I do believe however we will yet pick up more JP's locally and with even greater pace.

Note how Oz have joined nz in the rugby colonisation of the islanders who are too gormless to do much about it.

Talent scouts get busy!!!!!

Beeno thinking strategically. My other strategy I will not reveal.

fastest guy in world rugby is that african american guy in the US sevens team.

kenya may have whipped fiji, but USA whipped the blitzboks who couldnt even make the plate final, o_O

in the world of sevens, all out speed is a bonus, but not the be all end all.

@saffex,

"Gormless" is that a derogatory term aimed at Polynesians, Beeno if so its a new low for even you. What do you base your accusations of "rugby colonialism" of Polynesians on...this I gotta hear. I base mine on experience, actually playing rugby with Polynesian players in the NZ rugby system, some who were pretty damn good and went onto provincial and national honours, without be colonized. You regurgitating an internet rumour that is unsubstantiated is like trying to speak as an expert on ninjitsu because you read a book about it but haven't done it.

Poly lets not get too emotional and simple look at the cold facts. The simple facts are that although the Islanders could be in the top eschelons of world rugby they happily feed off the scraps thrown to them. They provide talent firstly to nz and now also, in increasing numbers, to OZ. They have been rugby colonised by nz an doz - FACT.

Lets also face the fact that the Islanders have been playing rugby for many decades and are still in this unfortunate position. Why  - well because they are gormless. Where is the ambition etc the drive to get a square deal? To fly under your own colours.

Beeno touching on a raw nerve?

No, it's Beeno again trying to pass off ill informed rhetoric as fact. Everything you typed is your own biased, baseless opinion, you know nothing about Polynesians in the rugby environment yet you try to pass off one eyed observations as if they are fact, simply because Polynesians are integral players in winning teams. You seem to think that NZ shouldn't be a multi cultural country and can't seem to grasp the fact that NZ is not a mono or even bi cultural society. The truth is it grates that the Boks are the second best team in the world, that SA rugby plays second to NZ who has a fifth of the registered players, that its the All Blacks who are the bench mark and probably the most well known rugby team on the planet...so you continuously grasp at "colonizing, cheating refs, poaching players" excuses to justify your bias. Those are the facts.

Poly when I refer to Islanders I refer to the Pacific Islanders - Samoa, Tonga and Fiji. Of course nz also has polynesians living there and who are part of the nz culture and rugby etc etc. I am saying zip about nz not being a multi cutural  nation. Read again what I in fact said.

I am questioning why the Pacific Islanders - Samoa, Tonga and Fiji are so excluded and serve only to supply players to Nz and Oz. Are you happy with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop dodging the issue with totally irrelevant comments.

just like the Afrikaaner colonization of the Zulus eh Beeno! Give it up Beeno before we escalate this to a level you don't want to go! It is offensive! Rugby was invented by the Poms incase you haven't noticed!

Whats offensive in suggesting the Pacific Islanders could be a top team in the world but are getting nowhere in doing their own thing?

Now hahahahakwa I do understand that  you and even ou Redsman are delighted with the way things have panned out but actually I am batting for Poly here although he didnt realise it.

Time the islanders had their own team and were part of major competitions etc.

What in the world has the Poms inventing rugby got to do with it hahahahahakwa?

No more unbecoming squeals from kiwis and oz oaks please!!!!   It a beautiful day here in Cape Town again so no drizzling!

Beeno sticking up for what is right as usual.

You haven't got it quite straight beano, the calibre of the nesians your talking about have come through the grades and if not all then almost were either born in nz or did all their schooling in nz and basically if they are good enough for the all blacks then dam straight they would have been invited to join where their grandparents are, so for alot of them it comes down to choice and 'where' they consider there heart to be (or home in other words). I was in assembly when at kelston boys high and mr henry would congradulate members of the first 15 that had indeed being picked to represent island nations. It's not like as you say, islanders were living in nz for at least a generation before a single one represented nz.

Beeno you made no such distinction between NZ and Island Polynesians, even so this is a spin on your poaching crap, and you still have the wrong end of the stick, was that irrelevant enough for you.

@beeno - good effort at stirring the ire of the kwiws... for me I laugh matters off, something our uptight kiwi friends simply cannot - Fact is Australia probaly home to more polynesians than polynesia.... you think theres a few in rugby... check out rugby league.

I agree with your sentiments that NZ has been stealing and poaching polynesians for years and years post their colonisation. Australia seemed to get on band wagon recently too - but also having played rugby in QLD with lots of polynesians boys - lots have nothing but 100% view as australia being their home.... further woudl say that prbly (defintiely) that would be attitude of kiwi islanders too - although kiwis whinge and moan more about them until they want them playing rugby for them...

to add more to the debate of genetics - yep indig Aussies (aborigines) by far quicker than avergae white aussie. Problem is most of them pretty skinny legged bunch. They tend to be excellend AFL and RL - Kurtly Beale about only top indig player of rugby becasue he got sport scholarship to top sydney private school at young age.... Aside from this mostly they play park league or afl depending on what state they're from.

ABNOB why are you talking abour nesians living in nz etc unless of course its because of a guilty conscience deriving from the fact all is not as you want to paint it.

However I say again I am not talking about nz rugby I am talking about Tonga, Fiji and Samoa. All they do is languish in the background while Oz and nz exploit them. I am arguing for a fair deal for them whereby they enter the world stage as a major force.

Now of course this is of grave concern to BOTH nz and OZ - ou Redsman hasnt quite twigged this all yet! Hahahahaha but yes Redsman I have these kiwis on a string!

No the gormless Islanders need to get their act together and stop being rugby slaves to nz and oz as much as ou poly loves it - conditioned to all this as he is.

End of story and no more pathetic bleating form the down under oaks.

come now Beeno, you can't use rugby to justifying insulting an entire race - it's almost like saying why don't more Afrikaners represent Holland in rugby - Holland would be a Super Rugby Power pffffffft! Anyway, you get my drift bweheheheheheheBeno!

Feel free to stop digging but it is probably hard to stop when you are on auto-pilot eh Beeno - do you perhaps want another picture of the 2011 RWC Champions to encourage you?

Its nothing like that its just saying Tong, Fiji and Samoa need to be given a fair go. Right now they are out in the cold and being exploited by nz and also Oz. . Stop trying to confuse matters hahahahahahakwa. Your smoke screen is fooling no one.

But please Hakwa no more of those unfortunate pictures!!!  I am told if you enlarge the medals you will see a picture of Bryce Lawrence!

I think this is all just too hard for you to understand benzip... But hey at least i tryed. Rest assured you can sleep easy tonight knowing the only ones been exploited are the good decent (or whats left of em) kiwi and saffa living in nz tax payer. You should ask Irene van dyke about cultural integration benzip... She's more kiwi than just about anyone  hahahahahabanbeno

Beeno the only thing you have on a string is your stupidity which you bounce from thread to thread. Why I condescend to explain reason to you is a waste of time, well I suppose second rated team=second rate fan with second rate IQ, your elevator is still on the way down.

Beeno - fact is genetically (fijians excepted) your average samoan or tongan not super quick, juts big and strong... As a kid we played against 12-13yos (and we had one or two on our teams) that were already 100kgs+..... so I agree island nations could dominant world rugby given the chance... but just as genetically they are gifted with this physique...  the work ethic / smarts of those of european decent is their advantge.

oii mate...! he is quick - looks like he was only cantering too... often thought if the USA put some resources into rugby (or cricket) they would be hard to beat...Shame NFL $$ way too big for rugby...

I would gues there'd be any number of black americans that could run 10.5s for 100m... lucky to have a handful of whites in Australia do that (and prbly none in kiwiland)... btw olympic qualification in aust is 10.22. FYI Jesse Mogg of brumbies has done 10.5

I did not say they would dominate world rugby but do believe a place in the top 5 is possible.
