Nil all and Stormers very unlucky not to have scored via Aplon.

Scrum doing fine and may do even better next half - we shall see. Pity Aplon dropped the ball and a certain try went astray.

Wonder how the chest beating ou maaaik and rooitwit are feeling. Hahhahaahhaha

Go Mighty Stormers an away win would be great.

One can see the exasperation of Mallet at the lack of ability to create.

Beeno, Sharks should have had 2 tries there. Both to Craig Burden. Luckily for the Stormers he had a real poor game! 1st one he picked up from a ruck with no one in front and dropped it. Second he tries to tap a kick that was let bounce by Stormers to the ref.

brycy when you play the Stormers its very difficult to score. Top SA sides dont play netball rugby. You will note how we kept the sharks tryless.

Grats to sharkies on their very close win. Aplon dropping the ball was what lost it for us.

But what is certain is that when Etzebeth, Tiaan, Schalk, De Jong and Taute are back (5 Boks) in the mix we will be a pretty formidable side.

But where was this big win sharkie blowhards ou maaaik and rooitwit? You guys were at home after all.

Benno it's really annoying me that you can't just say the stomers where beaten fair and square and that they really played a bad game! In fact the whole game was bad you say you are missing 5 players! But the sharks are missing a fair few as well! You can't blame the ref this week so you blame one player for a dropped ball! They just played the worst game! Today!

Bunnies!

The Hapless Stompies are bitch-slapped again!

The Sharks - without quality players like Keegan Daniel, Willem Alberts and Bismarck du Plessis - give the Stompies yet another humiliating beasting!

It's too easy!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!

Beeno

I think the Stormers were lucky to get away with a small loss - but I must admit their forwards did put up a stronger showing than last week and their defence was very good.   I think that the one reason why the Stormers backline was still not functioning is Jantjies.   He kicked away balls that he should not kick - he knocked on a crucial ball and he still runs towards his inside center before passing the ball.

Although he had  a slightly better game than last week -  he only missed one tackle this week - I do not think that he was effective at all.   Personally I have no confidence in him at all - and  think he should not play for the Stormers next week against the Chiefs.

I think there is one consolation for the Stormers next week against the Chiefs and that was that the Chiefs forwards were not really the best around and if the Stormers can outlast them next week - the win for the Chiefs will not be all that certain.

Keaganzulu, take it easy on Beeno my bru. He is slightly dilusional when it comes to the Stormers. He only sees the good (which cant be easy) and has an excuse for the bad. It cant be easy for him to support them week in and week out.

It must be a really annoying task to watch the Sharks completely dominate your team over the past 2 years. No one cares about Currie cup right now ;-) Only thing that still surprises me is that he gets his hopes up every time ;-)

Next game in Cape Town the Sharks will do it more easily!

Hahahhaha bok its just annoying seeing the blame being put on one person two weeks in a row! But the sharks need to get rid of the chockers title ;) and I want to see sharks vs the mighty bulls!

Keagan, to be honest, I will be surprised if the Sharks dont beat the Bulls home and away. The Bulls look extremely ordinary this year. It is early I know but they should not have beaten the Stormers. I think had Jantjies slotted a few goals, momentum would have been with the Stormers. Bulls are too 1 dimensional but there is 1 problem. Their players executing the game plan are not as good as previous years. They are trying to dominate in the forwards as they have done for years but they no longer have the Gary Botha's, Bakkies, Victor, Rossouw, Wanneburg, Steenkamp and co..

In fact, the Cheetahs have more exciting prospects at the moment in the pack. Bulls are scraping through their home games at the moment. I expect them to finish bottom half of the table. They have nothing there to get excited about!

smithie if you think the Stormers played a bad game then the sharkies were no better. The game could have gone either way - no doubt about that.

Quality players like keegan. oh how i wish he had played!!! Who would you have dropped. bwahahahahahha

Bok logic of course we should have beaten the hapless bulle. Man they did get a try they shouldnt have and Jantjes missed all those kicks.

Nothing delusional about the realist Beeno!

No all the sharks are missing is Alberts and Bissie.

So please oaks dont talk about bunnies when the Currie Cup is safely down here in the Cape much to the anguish of all sharkie fans. Hahahhahahahahaha you guppies aint won nothing yet but we have the Currie Cup. You also have to come to Newlands and we could be at full strength so best let that possibilty sink in guppies.

Hope this helps you see things more clearly.

Bean Brain the Mighty Chiefs will be gracing you with their presence in the next day or so . Hope you got some good beers for our boys. Whats the local lager called ? No doubt they stock our World Famous Beer 'Steinlager' if they know whats good for them .

Looking forward to seeing the Mighty Chiefs and the Stormers in action.

It will be like the grand final that never was ....due to those pesky sharks. Arent they annoying?

Ha ha love that last statement from Brycy..Yeah Beeno, Stormers are SA's best team..If the Sharks weren't around ;-)

Brycy, you wont easily find Steinlager in SA I am afraid. It will have to be Castle lager, Hansa or Black Label for the boys this time around but it will taste sweeter to them when they drinking it after an away win. Maybe they should play for a cup? It can be called the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" trophy donated by Beeno in memory of the 2012 Super rugby final that just wasn't ;-)

I dont see the Chiefs losing to this Stormers side. Travel or not. I think the Chiefs will run them off their feet. Cant rely on 3 pointers against a team that is going up in 5's or 7's and thats about the extent of the Stormers game.

I agree Beeno, 'The game could have gone either way' Both teams had positives and negative factors which is important to understand before criticizing Stormers. Numerous of sharks supporters believed it was gonna be a easy 20 or 30+ victory that clearly wasn't the case, Stormers improved significantly from last week which i expected, they contested fairly well against a team that looks more superior at strategically controling territory as well as dominating the collisions. Sharks co-ordinated game pattern has changed drastically since Freddie Michalak wasn't involved in the backline, he was exceptionally one of the best for the sharks 2012 and highly reliable at the time. Now Sharks is immediately constrained to rely on Lambie, a player that has completely failed to bring the best out of players around him. Lambie is playing a strategical tactical kicking approach and kick and chase oriented playstyle which is not ideal to watch. Its fair to say its irrefutable that cheetahs, bulls, kings and stormers are playing a more attacking productive approach to the gameplan than the sharks at this stage, no doubt. Sharks made 109 running metres Stormers made 167m.

Statistics
Possession - Sharks 49 - Stormers 51
LineBreaks - Sharks 1 - Stormers 0
Runs - Sharks 63 - Stormers 90
Run Metres - Sharks 300m - Stormers 454m
Kicks - Sharks 32 - Stormers 27
Tackles made - Sharks 38 - Stormers 34
Tackles missed - Sharks 10 - Stormers 12
Turnovers - Sharks 18 - Stormers 21
Penalties Conceded - Sharks 8 - Stormers 13

Why some always look for excuse when your team lose a game? When the Kings won, they were just lucky some of you say but when the Stormers lose in two games it is always someone else who is the problem. Nei man that is bad sportsmanship.

Statistics
Possession - Sharks 49 - Stormers 51 (Less posession for Sharks but better used,nê)
LineBreaks - Sharks 0 - Stormers 0  (Not true - I saw some line breaks by both sides)
Runs - Sharks 18 - Stormers 22  (Runnin across the park wasting the posession mostly)
Run Metres - Sharks 109m - Stormers 167m (Same as above - no purpose in running)
Kicks - Sharks 11 - Stormers 7 (I saw much more kicking than this by both teams)
Tackles made - Sharks 38 - Stormers 34
Tackles missed - Sharks 2 - Stormers 10 (Shoe! this is bad news for the Stormers, against the Chiefs, Blues etc they will pay)
Turnovers - Sharks 13 - Stormers 12 (Like all South Africa teams much too many)
Penalties Conceded - Sharks 8 - Stormers 13 (Players have no discipline - specially fourie, he a good player but to full of himself, nê)

By the performance of the South African teams, they will struggle to make the first four this year many things must be better.

Kalaed
All team fanbases make excuses not just Stormers supporters i've seen many of them on other forums and blogs. I myself base my interpretations on my personal opinion based on what i see, as a Stormers supporter i acknowledged the fact that Stormers deserved to lose due to handling errors and bad discipline not just that. To a extent there is some positive outcomes in a Stormers perspective that we can be glad about despite the lose, we had more try scoring opportunities we just couldn't make use of them. I was Impressed with Jordaans performance he made a great impact with ball in hand, real potential. As far as the statistics are concerned i apologize if its not exactly correct, i copy and paste it from a site.

No, that is not true. There are no supporters anywhere who squeal about injuries, cry about the ref and make pathetic excuses to the same extent that the Stompie Blowhards do.

typical beeno1 aka storminged, o,o

opens his big mouth on for the stormers to lose again. now we have a week of listening to how the referee cheated his team, how global warming effected their kicks and how the pharmacy purposely with held medication for period cramps cos of their sharks affiliation.

Lord knows what benno1 aka storminged will say after the chiefs win, hopefully the chiefs only win by less then 10pts, that way beeno1 aka storminged can call that a stormers victory, LMAO, :oP

i say it will be 34-20 to chiefs! thats with the stormers playing like they can if they play like they are at the moment! i dont think the stomers will last! and lucid you say every fan base covers up for their team is a lie i will never say the bulls desevered to win a game if they didnt! rather be a man about loosing than a mouse!

oh please smithie!!! The general consensus was it could have gone either way so why should I say otherwise just to play a politically correct role - the better side won when they didnt.

I will also say had the Stormers played as well against the bulle as they did against the sharks the bulle would have been whupped real good. Bwahahahahhahahaha. As it was it took them a non try, dubious scrum penalties and jantjes missing all his kicks for the hapless bulle to win. Facts are facts smithie.

Rooitwit for the record - you have no record so up your game . hahahahahahahhaha

bulle and guppies going down second time around!! Only injuries and refs could possibly save your hides.

Beeno not impressed with these very ignorant blowhards

So keegan is a bulle supporter - seem to have an identity crises? What you should be saying is how lucky the hapless bulle were to beat the Mighty Stormers - ditto the sharks.

End of story.

Beeno i never said its not ok saying it could of gone both ways I said I was bored of hearing ku blame ine thing or a person because btw I have said both teams played piss poor! But you bring me on to a point I have already said the try was no try and as for pens mate the refs word is law live with it mate!

Also Elton missing the kicks is a stomers fault no one else you play as a team you lose as one! Do not blame one person or play just man up and takeit!

Ha ha so every team that beats the Stormers is simply "lucky?" Beeno you are a funny chap. Only thing that I am surprised about is that the Sharks were kept tryless. Not actually kept, we just played poorly and Burden butchered two tries himself. (What was he thinking!!!!!!)

Anyway, Stormers were never going to beat the Sharks but I have gone for a Stormers victory over the Chiefs by 4 points this weekend. Everything tells me the Chiefs should win. They are much the better team but my thinking is that the Stormers are desperate to get their campaign off the ground. They are at home, Chiefs have travelled and fortunately for Stormers, they catch them on their first game in the republic. Second game is always easier on tour as you more settled and in sync! I think the Stormers will turn this into a boring, defensive effort and frustrate the Chiefs. I expect Grant will be back in place of Jantjies.

I could be very wrong and the Chiefs just come out and cut that defence to pieces like the Sharks should have done. Then it is gona get big on the Stormers!
