Which South African franchise will you be supporting in this year's Super Rugby competition?

4 % Kings

35 % Stormers

6 % I'm neutral...

Found on Sport 24 website.  Can't say I as surprised.

Beeno

I rally am surprised at the result.   It shows how many misinformed people there are in SA - especially when they cannot recognize the diffrence between arrogance and real value.  My vote obviously wouldhave gone to the Sharks.

The Stromers - what a joke - they could not even beat the B-team of the Cheetahs last Saturday.   Brycy is right - they are ripe for the picking.   I hope you feel happy after that disgrace against the Cheetahs.  I shudder if I think about what would have happened against the Lions - it would have been a massacre.

What a farce.

I support the Sharks - the real deal team of SA.

The Stormers used to play an exiting brand of rugby during the time of bobby skinstad, Paulse and Percy montgomery. The 2012 team is boring to watch and too defensive.

Natal/Sharks only started to play decent rugby on a regular basis in 1990. That being said, they are the SA team that plays the most attractive rugby consistently. WP and NTvl will also always have strong support, getting better and worse as the teams performance fluctuate. This season is however quite fresh and new and anything might happen. Mike &co., you can read into the warm-up game what you want, but it was our first game, opposed to your second. We played with our fifth in line FH, who IMO will struggle to make the final squad. I did not even watch the game, but I think the Cheeters were pretty hard-up for a win, seeing that they went for a long range penalty in the end. I can't recall any cheetah fans on site, but if any, congrats...most probably the closest you'l get at beating WP this year.

Draad thanks for a most sensible post. Mike has not grasped that this was a warm up game with second string players against a desparate Cheetahs side.

Its reasoning like this that leads folk astray. Now ou brcy is right. That would make a first and should mean red lights are flashing Mike. Hahahahahhahaha.

No where ever one goes in SA WP have support. The result cant really be a surprise.

stormers were the only team in 2012 who couldnt score a single 4try bonus pt, for 35% of saffas to say they support the stormers speaks VOLUMES towars the nations mentality towards enterprising rugby.
that 35% tells me theres 0 chance of the Boks improving their attacking game in 2013.

the wallabies will again be the All Blacks biggest threat in 2013, but england will be the most anticpated match as the All Blacks look to beat them for the next 10 yeats straight again.
