Are you mad?? Of course NOT! That would be like tackling the Pope...or killing innocent seals!

the real question should be, are the Boks not allowed to play an expansive game against the All Blacks???

no wait a minute, the real question is -

do the Boks know how to play an expansive game against the All Blacks???

if eden park is anything to go by, the answer is a resounding hell no.

No matter how you look at it, Sasuke, you're obviously not allowed to tackle the man, the myth, the legend, Dan Carter.

I said it in another thread, if that was Tom Taylor on the ground the ref would have let play continue. It is like this in every sport.

@canrugby,

"No matter how you look at it, Sasuke, you're obviously not allowed to tackle the man, the myth, the legend, Dan Carter."
why arent u allowed to tackle dan carter??? cos one dumb arse ref got it wrong??? o_O

im sure u will have no problems giving us other examples of when players were wrongly penalised for making a good tackle on carter.

checkmate in 2 moves.

Why? Is two not enough for you? It's enough for me.

You can't argue that refs aren't influenced by great players, and by great teams. Even Sir Alex Ferguson can't.

Wow. Calm down guys. This entire thing is tongue in cheek. The commentators saw it like that, and I am sure that Andrew Hore meant it as TIC as well. I saw the humor in it and had a good laugh as well, the first time I saw it.

@canrugby,

so when i ask for examples for ur comment saying ur not allowed to tackle carter, ur one and only credible fact to back this up with is poites wrong call, cos when u check the replay of the hit on carter in the hore clip, the penalty while wrongly explained was justified.
so like i said, one cos of one stupid NH ref silly questions like that are being asked.

told u it was check mate in two, :oP

I'm sorry if I ever ran over your dog or anything, Sasuke, but I am not on here to "win the internet", like you seem to be for some reason, or get into it like you and some Saffas do. Thought we were cool.... but it's really no big deal to me.

You're right, there may be very little evidence as to Carter, but my point isn't really singling out him. It's about great players in general, and great teams. I saw it with Wayne Gretzky playing hockey. I see it watching baseball, and soccer. All I know is that great players, and great teams get the benefit of the doubt on a lot of calls. Especially when playing at home.

 Hahaha, dam funny, are we not allowed to tackle carter. I think not, look how the all blacks reacted when their princess got molested by Bismarck. If it wasn't for the over reaction the refs might have asked to review the tackle only.

This article sort of says that top  atheletes like Carter sometimes get a little more protection but then points out all the times that this is not true. Interesting read.

No you are not allowed to tackle Dan. It is in the rules of the game.

@canrugby. I liked the comment about Suzuki trying to 'win the internet'. Could not have summed it up better. Him and Saffex should get together.

@canrugby,

my bad brother canuck, ive been indefence mode since the start of the week after reading a ton of comments insinuating the All Blacks would have lost if bizzy wasnt carded, endless threads realted to poite and that the All Blacks cheated to win the match.
half of them are from the usual shit talkers so thats no biggie, but the general preception is the Boks wer robbed, even though the Boks have never won in eden park since 1937 and that the Boks have onl won in NZ 3 times in the professional era, o_O

so while i was a little confrontational with u, ur statement that ur not allowed to tackle carter adds to the theme of referees giving the All Blacks preferential treatment was always going to get me to respond as such.
if u were beeno or siones uncless BFF i would have just ignored it as simple trolling and responded in kind.

nothing personal, just business, and my business here is to just give the rugger inside of me a voice, but also representing the All Blacks by debunking misleading untrue comments such as urs, kapish???
anyone reading our exchange will now have the notion of carter and All Blacks given rpeferetial treatment to be based only on opinon and not facts which was the point all together, and BTW its still checkmate, LMAO, :oP

@rugganaut,
ah good to see u up and about after ur embarrassing retard shit talking comments the last time u were here, in case u have forgotten, heres the link of what happened the last time before u disappeared to what i then thought was u going of to die in shame
www.sarugby.com/forum.cfm

but i guess ur hungry again, but dont worry its only a matter of time before u have another meal of ur foot in ur mouth.
