Try 1:

Simple inside ball from ruck. Louw probably drifting too wide, as has been mentioned, but also Mostert clearly and deliberately blocked by Creevy, opening the channel. From there just a straight sprint with a pass or two for the remaining players.

Try 2:

Scrum twists, taking Louw out of the equation for edge defense (A6 also makes sure to get in his way for just a second or so). Arg flank breaks into this space, sucking Pollard out of the line. Boks now lack numbers on the outside as Esterhuizen is also sucked in by the next carrier. Louw across in cover. As A13 puts the foot on the gas Louw accelerates as well but can't get to him. A13 now engages Am and Willie. Willie should have been watching A14, but instead watches A13 who is already covered by Am. By the time A14 gets the ball he has just got a yard or two wide of Willie, who didn't keep himself aware of his man's position and gets beaten on the outside.

Try 3:

Just a strange one. Poor loose ball thrown back a good 15m by A9. A13 runs back and secures on the 22 and pops it to A10 off the ground. Faf and Louw in attendance but somehow can't get to him. Kolisi turns his back on A10 who simply slips behind him to sprint for the line, with Marx not having the pace to make a cover tackle.

Try 4:

Again a simple sucking in of the Bok midfield. A9 to A10 from ruck. Louw covers A10. Esterhuizen comes inside to check dummy runner next to A10. Am gets sucked in by two further dummy runners just wide of A10. Pass goes behind these runners and Arg has a 2 on 1 and a simple sprint for the line. Way too easy.

Good summary

But the conclusion remains the same - Louw and Esterhuizen are both pace=deficient and no good in defense.   Am is also not a house on fire defense-wise.
