Weather conditions is a great leveller of rugby outcomes.  It badly effects the pace of the game and that is a fact.   You could see it on Saturday in both matches played in teh RC.  It also affects the ball handling by the players and they make too many handling errors.  
The ability to scrum properly is also affected by a slippery surface - some players adjust bettr to it than others.   
That being saioid - we need a proper set of locks - not the Bakkies Botha of the world at present.  I posted his stats for four ganmes elsewhere and it was bad news.   So he should not be in the starting line-up.   Neither should Morne Steyn be - he is just not up to standard as an all-round flyhalf.   I think he does not really know when to pass balls and when to kick - it happens all the time - he kciks when he should pass and vice versa.    You just cannot built proper backline play with indecisiveness at flyhalf.
I aree with you - under proper conditions the Boks will beat the Argentnians by a large marfin  probably 30 points or more - but tht depends entirely on the starting line-up selected by Meyer.   The team is likely to be announced today and we can only wait and see what he comes up with.

 Oakie sure - I know that - but so do the resident morons we have to contend with on this site.  Maybe by repeating it - they may just wake up to real life in rugby by repeating it.

Mike, why is it so important to you that people accept your points of view? Ultimately it's not going to make any real world difference because none of us are in charge of the national team. We're just a bunch of morons throwing shit into a fan, each one thinking theirs made the prettiest pattern coming out.

 I can feel the first big surprise of this year's tournament coming.
Considering that the argies always improve in a big way when playing at home and seeing how close the last match was where the argies were superior in many aspects of the game and for a considerable part of the match, I would bet for Argentina 26-21.
