Remarkably little interest in this game if the number of posts is any indication. I decided to get some sleep rather than get up in the wee hours of the morning to watch it live.
I just watched the replay and Argentina played very well. Admittedly they were playing a AB b team as Hansen wanted to give some of the inexperienced ABs a run.
ALB had a really good game as did Frizzlle, TJ looked good but his replacement TTT had a short stint but impressed. Tu'inukauf also showed he can scrum but also run with the ball - which is an AB requirement even for a prop. Ben Smith was also very good. Mo'unga was pretty average but got his first start and he is a quality player so he will only get better.

15. Ben Smith - 7
Took 10th minute head knock but offered elusive running and provided flair to orchestrate a counter-attacking victory.
14. Nehe Milner-Skudder - 7
Continues to look a weapon with dashing runs on right flank. Glides like a Rolls-Royce Phantom with ball in hand.
13. Jack Goodhue - 8
Strong covering tackles and was key to setting up All Blacks opening try. Deserved his own at end after selfless display.
12. Ngani Laumape - 6
Knocked and twisted right knee in Sanchez tackle and went off in 10th. Replaced by Lienert-Brown.
11. Waisake Naholo - 6
10. Richie Mo'unga - 6
Had keys to ignition in All Blacks backline. Stalled when stood up by Moyano, but asserted himself better later.
9. TJ Perenara - 8
Brings joie de vivre to team spirit. Sid Going-like dart to nail 31st minute try. Communicated well with pack.
8. Kieran Read (c) - 7
Determination drove him to crucial try which stretched ABs to 23-14. Customary composure ensured no panic.
7. Ardie Savea - 7
Busy game as he tries to stamp mark on No 7 jersey. Claimed crucial penalty as Pumas threatened in 47th.
6. Shannon Frizell - 8
Dangerous in space. Looked like Gulliver as Pumas defenders buzzed around him before 19th minute try. A local star.
5. Scott Barrett - 7
Charged with passion. Missed 22nd minute tackle as Delguy found space. Spilt pill in 27th, but engine kept revving.
4. Brodie Retallick - 7
Off in 10th with shoulder injury which brought Whitelock into fray. Had already contributed in defence and open play.
3. Owen Franks - 7
Picked and ran like he'd decided the try drought must end in 101st test. Missed tackle of Sanchez in 42nd minute.
2. Codie Taylor - 7
Million dollar pass to Milner-Skudder in 19th helped set up first ABs try. Demonstrated a reliable GPS in lineout.
1. Karl Tu'inukuafe - 8
The Sergeant Al Powell of the side. He's got your back if you're stuck in Nakatomi Plaza with Hans Gruber on Christmas Eve.

Yes, but as we all know it's the scoreboard that counts. It was good to see the Argies play so well and very good for the new ABs to get experience against a good team.
Wee Boks weren't too bad today and tried some different things. All important to seeing what players have to offer and spread the experience. No excessive hand ringing please Beeno.

Jaws played 10 minutes but he gets a 7.....what sentimental folk you NZers are! It was a much more enjoyable game than the Aussie/Bok mistake fest....the Bargies do some cool things and then blow the basics. I thought the Bargie foot on the line, try reversal was not obvious.....not obvious enough to declare the player in touch.
McKenzie was brilliant on a few occasions and Perenara had one of his best tests.

Just goes to show that 10 mins of the world's best lock is worth a lot
Boks defense looked good. Stupid mistakes (including some howlers from wee Willie) didn't help.

...JW, a pretty good game against a Pumas aka Jaguares outfit that have been practicing all year for that..... i would give the MOM to Frizzel, i thought he was brilliant but the whole pack went well ...can also see Patrick Tuipulotu getting recalled very soon to the ABs if Retallick is out - he had a blinder of a game for Auckand on Friday night against Tasman scoring a hat trick... Great depth in the ABs now which bodes well for next years RWC..

Too true Mr Brycy ,Frizzel is being touted as the next Ice Man and Tuipoluto has been called into the fold .
