At least Lambie is back in his best position.

Coetzee has really made a lot of changes, some rather unusual. We will have to see what the impact is. One thing which  does make sense though is to put Lambie back at 15. He is a solid thinker and a good tackler in space. He doesn't have a huge boot but good enough. One wonders about him taking high balls though, it seems he will be right back on the horse.
Still the experiment of Lambie at Bok 10 was never a happy one, whereas he had some solid games at Bok 15....notably in the RWC2011.

 Even if Pat has a cracker of a game, scoring a hat tricor breaking Nokwe's record, I personally don't think he should of been rushed back. All seems a bit knee jerk reaction no matter which way AC spins it.

Agree, xavi. A completely unwarranted risk. 
It's not like these next two games mean anything. They're more like friendlies before the November tour. He could have given Lambie at least another few weeks to get some Currie Cup time and build up his confidence. 
Really poor man management if you ask me.

 The team stinks to high heaven and Mozart's only comment is on Lambie.   What about the rest?  Most are real duds - Lambie is one of the better players - but playing him out o f position to cater for the Donkey-kicker is really bad.
I warned you repeatedly on this site that Coetzee's appointment would be a massive mistake - but we have a guy like Mozart who supported the appointment.    What a farce.    

 No need to denigrate the hygiene of the team Mike, we all know your views. Here is what I said about Coetzee after the Irish series. Read it and do try and get some perspective Tokkie you are looking more and more like a loony tune.

I believe in joint culpability....players and coaches. Nor do I believe we have a magic solution with different selections.....the difference between selecting Strauss or Marx can explain maybe 2% of our 25% performance gap. Selection is part of the problem, tactics and preparation play a much bigger role.

And having a competitive coach is huge. Eddie out thought Checkmate at every level....his team knew what they had to do. Our players against Ireland were making it up as they went along. Thankfully Whiteley and Combrink had some answers.

I have not been a critic of our coaches since the equally clueless Destroyli....PdV was sidelined by the players. But we are about to waste 4 years.

It's not Coetzee's selections that clinched the argument for me....but the clueless preparation of the team. We need a competitor.....a leader of men....somebody with fire in his belly. That person is not Coetzee.

Agree on both. Both are much better flyhalves. Lambie in particular doesn't have the pace to be a fullback.

 Both don't have prayer of being an international flyhalf. I think Lambie is far braver than Goosen, who bottled out under the high ball.....hence I prefer Lambie at 15.
