these changes must be made.
Du Toit starting at lock. Du Preez at number 8. That gives us 6 powerful forwards and for now let's go with Kriel and Kolisi at the side of the scrum which gives us better coverage out wide and support for the backline. (Have the other Du Preez on the bench.) Not much disruption to the cohesion of the pack.Faf and Combrink to start. Faf is by far the most dynamic scrummie we have. Or if you insist at least have him on the bench. Faf's effect on the Lions is electric. Most courageous scrummie in the world.  Away with the following from the squad - these are players who are without any doubt not up to it:Rhule, (Makes way for Combrinck.Bongi (Akkers MUST replace him - a world class hooker)Paige (Makes way fro Faf)Cassiem (Makes way for daniel Du Preez)Start weeding out the weak links.I would like to have Rohan and Wilie Le Roux in the squad. Obviously if Kolbe was given some game time at scrummie he would be a must. Potentially the best scrummie in the world.

I would also like to see some of the changes mentioned by you, but some are very dubious.   I have been watching Rohan since his return to rugby - but he has been a problem - no spark yet,   He was totally outplayed by Huw Jones in the WP - Golden Lions clash and the same can be said about the game against the Sharks.  Must prove that jhes till belongs.
The only center with a lot of spark is in fact Vorster - a more capable thinking player than either Kriel, Serfontein and Van Rensburg.   In the WP game he was overshadowed by Viljoen who is developing very nicely as a center and is coming on in leaps and bounds.  Viljoen is at this stage not ready yet for selection - but it is his first year as a top division player and is showing a lot of positives.
There sis a serious problem at scrummie without Cronje .   Both Hougaard and Paige are not up to standard.   The best performing scrummie outside of the squad is Schreuder - whoi did very well for the Kings and was MOM for the Sharks match yesterday.  Very much an unappreciated player.
However, we are living in a dreamworld if we think Coetzee will drop Rhule, Paige and Cassiem from the squad - they are part of the quota system.

Beano, ffs. grow up .......its obvious that the bottom line regarding the transformation charter means that there will be at least six poc. in the team ...... that at present is 2 wings, flyhalf, prop & 2 loosies. Save your dream team for your bedtime. Suck it up, it is what it is .

Blobbie Goat letting us have his usual insightful contribution.

Ah gee ... thanks for that Blobbie my man.

I'm sure none of us knew of the racist policies in place.

That however doesn't mean that we can't point out the obvious corrections .

Bob I will NEVER defend quotas (and NEVER have even when some morons years ago were) or stop objecting to this naked racism in sport and of course in the work place. Time for people to voice their strong objections to this. I would not complain if the IRB banned South Africa till merit selection are the rule and quotas done away with. It's an action the IRB should take if they wish to avoid charges of hypocrisy.Bob you are usually fair minded but you appear confused.

I am a fan of PSDT and i believe he has plenty to offer, but Moz is right, he is a shart tackler. I have been focusing on his tackling lately, and his technique is rubbish . As a lock/flank he needs to be able to nail his tackles....he does not.

Mozart is concentrating only on tackles and he says that it is not a function of Locks to score tries and ke canot see what contribution locks are making in Tioght 5 play as well as in having ball skills,.
Al these things are where Du Toit is particularly strong and his tackling is not as bad as Mozart advertises,    He tries to make tackles that other locks will not even endeavor and when he miss those it is used as a means to belittle him.
I rate Du Toit very highly as a brainy rugby player As a brainy rugby player.   Please note that Mozart is concentrating on an anti du Toit cam, paign for years now and he is no person whose descriptions of what a player achieve can never be trusted since it is based on prejudice - nothing else.
