Just saw that Jeb Sinclair was found guilty by the Hearing - but no further action taken against him.   Reason - Deysel slapped him in the face 5 times before he reacted  and hit Deysel with an uppercut that landed him on his backside.

Question is - why was Deysel not charge for his thuggish behavior?   And then there are people on this site that think he should be in the Springbok team - another Greyling case would be inevitable.

However, I still would not start an argument with Jeb Sinclair - he really has a mean uppercut.

If you don't like Greyling....why would you like Deysel? This guy was advertised as super strong and then Andy Powell ran right over him. Another example of dumb, exaggerated, muscle.

Donkey Deysel fust feel like a total fool.

He was slapping someone over and over, to then be floored by a proper punch.

Deysel should forget about the handbaf stuff and just focus on his mindless pick and carries

One punch Jebb dropped him like a bag of dirt. Bet Deysel won't be doing that to any WP players as long as Jebb is on the team. :)

Deysel gets the last laugh as the red cards won the game for the Sharks.

Draad it is very unfortunate that the provocateur won the day. Rules need to be reconsidered.

As for the punch I feel petty sure Deysel could throw a real one if he CHOSE.  As a player he is far, far to ponderous to ever be a Bok. Moz when I speak of size I mean big ATHLETES.

dbdraad,

I don't condone throwing punches left right and centre all the time, and everytime there's an altercation.....BUT, sometimes a good swift punch to the face is deserved, and called for to make sure that player knows he needs to shape up, or he's going to get what's coming. A punch to the face that knocked him on his arse, and a yellow card should do the trick.

Lots of rugby left to play.

There is the video clip. Count the number of slaps from Deysel:

Ceradyne

In that clip they shpowed one slap - but the Hearing concluded there was five.   The Hearing obviously believe there wer five and use that as a reason for not acting further against Sinclair.   I think the other slaps occured earlier in the maul - resulting from a line-out - whilst the Sharks were pushed back towards their line.
