As per normal your ratings is piss poor - and not worth reading.   Mostert was no better than 4,5 at best.   Du Toit was double the player Mostert was in the game - even playing out of position.  What bloody errors of Du Toit are you talking about that Mostert did not make double of - bird brainfart? 

Are you nuts - Louw went AWOL in the game - I would think MINUS 8 would be more appropriate - a loosie who passed the ball twice and had no carries and made two tackles is about as useless as you get.

Please motivate what Louw did that cause the winning of the game?   Is it another skyscraper of yours and that village idiot AO?  

OPINION: The Springboks were fortunate to get a 26-29 the win in Paris against France.

15 Willie le Roux
He only had a few opportunities with ball in hand. He was pretty quiet during the 80 minutes.

14 Sibusiso Nkosi
Scored a try off a French mistake and that was pretty much it. His work rate was poor around the park. Then again, the Boks hardly took the ball wide.

He had a couple of good runs with the ball, but he was still very predictable with ball in hand.

He went missing in this game. He only carried the ball three times and he missed a couple of tackles as well.

11 Aphiwe Dyantyi
Another player who hardly had any opportunities with ball in hand. He could have looked for more work around the park. He also needs to work on his defence out wide.

He kept the scoreboard ticking over with his accurate boot. But he was far from the general South Africa needs in that No.10 jersey in open play.

He kicked the ball away too much and he was just too predictable behind the rucks. However, he did put in few good passes.

He put in a couple of good tackles and that was about it. You hardly noticed him on the field.

He was much better in the second half. He was strong with ball in hand and he made his presence felt on defence.

It was not a good performance by the captain. He looked lost running around the field and he missed a couple of tackles and gave a few turnovers away.

He gave away two penalties and missed a few tackles as well. He made no impact with ball in hand.

He made more tackles than any other player in his team and he also missed more as well. He won a few turnovers.

He was strong in the scrums and did more work around the park as well. He was a good defender and he was aggressive with his ball carries.

He found his line-out jumpers this time and he was a menace at the breakdowns once again. It would have been nice to have seen him with more of the ball.

Strong in the scrums and like Marx he was good at the breakdowns where he won a few turnovers. He had a few good carries as well.

Made a couple of line-out throws in pressure situations and he obviously scored the winner as well.

He looked strong with ball in hand. He put in a few big hits on defence as well.

Brought some power up front and did his part in a strong defensive display in the final 20 minutes.

Got his team over the gain line with a few big carries and he was important player in the set pieces in the final 30 minutes.

He made a big impact in the closing stages. He won a few crucial turnovers for his team when he was on the field.

He looked good on attack when he came onto the field.

He had one excellent run to the tryline, but he managed to lose the control of the ball in a tackle before putting the ball down. It was a good cameo from the wing.

I forgot  - Louw did make a turnover in possession - but is that enough for a 7/10 rating.  His tackle count was ridiculously Louw and he did near to zero otherwise.

AO also went ballistic about Mostert and Mozart did as well,   I would agree with thei r rating given by Rugby 365 iro him.

Do you know what I wrote about the Springboks at halftime?   Do you call this BS by the Springboks Rugby players ?

Any rugby fan with half an idea about the game will look at the sequence below and be able to appreciate how Louw, in that last three minutes, gave us a chance we didn't deserve. By the 80th minute France needed to run down less than 60 seconds on the clock 5m from our line - almost a foregone conclusion. This doesn't even need further explanation. The blind won't see.

Kolisi is not an openside flank.

He's done some good things ball in hand this season (scored, assisted), but he's also botched a number of opportunities by not passing. Outside of carrying well he does little of the work the number on his jersey suggests he should be doing.

Auge probably called it just right up there: He is a big back pretending to be a forward.

That said, where do we stand with Louw? I'm not convinced he can go a full 80 at test level anymore. He looked really good coming in at the death against the All Blacks and now again against France, while he had some iffy outings as a starter. Do you start him or do you end with him? We used to have a fair few very good opensiders in this country. Now we seem to have run out, with a 34 year old as seemingly the best option.

Harsh on Nkosi and lenient on Dyanti

Dyantyi made errors too. Until the second half, I actually had a worse impression of him. He did more than Nkosi. He always does more around the field. He has assisted a few Nkosi tries now! I have it at three. Nkosi looks like the next Nokwe is many ways. I much prefer Mapimpi, and even Kolbe has bettered him. I don't think Nosi's reputation is warranted at test level.  

What else did Louw achieve during the game ZILCH,    Give him 2,5  out of ten for each turnover and reduce it by 0,5 for doing bugger-all in the ret of the game.   

His entire game was excellent. Not only excellent, but everything he did made the Boks much better. Without him, we don't win the game. As pointed out by Pakie, he gave us a chance to win a game we had no right to win. If this were Steph or Damian, you'd be ramming it down our throats. 

I've seen Nkosi being brushed aside on defence and outright beaten. He has a lot of defensive issues. If I review his game, I can probably cite 9 missed tackles in the past two games. Added to that, several instances where he was outright beaten. He is a good finisher, but I want to see more from him. I can't think of a try that wasn't a walk-in. He isn't useless, but he has struggled. Mapimpi is more physical, more accurate and busier. He has also shown an aptitude for RC rugby. There can be no doubt that Kolbe outplayed Nkosi on Saturday.
