The Aussie backs were horrible in the first half....Speight and Rona seemed afraid to put their bodies on the line, and Kerevi made mistake after mistake. Together those three players missed a whopping 14 tackles most in the first half. But with the substitution of Kuridrani for Kerevi the defence stiffened a bit....and offensively the Aussies made a bit of a second half statement. ... Much is made of the first half, but the second half was also one way traffic....from the Aussies. Beale made some spectacular cuts onto the ball and Folau compiled most of his 116 metres. I'm guessing the ABs lost intensity but it waa impressive....this is a much more dangerous backline than that of the Boks, particularly in the centres. . I don't give the Aussies much chance against NZ next week...but they will be a tough nut for the Boks in Oz, their second half performance would also have blown us away.. ..

Hey Cloudy ,Moz .Too true about the Aussies ,I felt sorry for them when the score hit 54 but after their 4th try .....eh not so much ! I see Pinetree has passed away into legend eh ? Sad day for NZ rugby .

The AB's played one of the best first halves in rugby that I have seen in this competition for many a year.
Sure they flattened in the second half but give the Aussies credit for coming back like they did.
With this performance from the two down under teams, I fear for the Goats.
Yep, they beat the Pumas but what does that prove?

AJ, if the Boks lost to the Pumas you all would be in great despair rather than in a mini depression. So, congrats on the win & let's hope this means the Boks are on the mend.
I agree the ABs played a fantastic first half and this looks very promising as they have made some changes to the team . Seems strange to say this but I'm glad the ABs have something to be concerned about & that second half will provide plenty of motivation to improve.
