Flayed Blooper? Flayed will never be test material. He appears to be the Goosen/Lambie of Australian rugby. If you repeatedly come up short against the Boks and All Blacks then you have no business being touted the best anything. That said, the Reds and the Tahs look to be the Aussie's only prospects at present, but we will see how that holds up at the business end of the comp.

for the first time in a very long time im genuinely interested in the aussie conference.
the big three the reds, brumbies and waratahs have a roster which is more than capable of taking on the heavyweights in spXV.
its crazy, but it looks like the aussie conference have more competitive teams than SA??? o_O

dangerous teams - reds, brumbies and waratahs
middle range teams -
lower tier teams - rebels and force
SA
top teams - sharks
middle range teams - bulls, stormers, cheetahs
lower tier teams - lions
i dont really rate the brumbies at the moment, they look a little lost trying to play an expansive game after two yeats of whites playing the territory game.
larkham and fisher should have stick to the white gameplan, instead it looks likr theyre trying to break free by playing a brand similar to the tahs and reds.

The much-vaunted Waratahs are too reliant on Israel Folau and their pack is overrated.
Not saying they can't still make the playoffs - because Folau is that good - but my money would be on the Reds to finish top of the Shackledragger conference.
PS No big surprise that the person with the least rugby knowledge on this board - yes, even less than Sharktwat and Smallcock - doesn't think Quade Cooper is test material. You have to laugh!

QC started showing signs of maturity and leadership on and off the field near the end of last year. Genia worked his way out of the doldrums as well. If that continues and with some of the new talent coming along and players returning from injury/rehab/incarceration the Wobblies are going to be tough this year.
1. Tahs
2. Reds
3. Brumbies / Rebels
4. Rebels / Brumbies
5. Force
Brumbies - White built that team around a specific, successful game plan. They're idiots if they abandon it. Maybe having Lealifano out has something to do with it.
