During a Saint Kilda AFL club " mad monday " celebration a Dwarf entertainer was set alight by a drunken player. And you thought Aussie sport could sink no lower ! [ pun intended ]

Lol! I'm never surprised by the drunken antics of sports stars these days.  From the early days when hard drinking, hard hitting Keith Murdoch was sent home after a bar room brawl in a Welsh pub, to the drunken antics of the English RWC squad that treated the 2011 tournament like a bachelors road trip, to the Umanga handbag in ident, Muliaina pissing at the bar at an upmarket Parnell drinking establishment, the childish sign stealing shenanigans of the 2011 RWC Bokke team at a rural NZ bar, Toks Van der Linde infamous altercation with an "ethnic" woman in another NZ bar, Zac Guilfords Rarotongan debacle, the bar room brawls involving Australia's 3 Amigos, Jerry Colin's knife wielding in a Japanese mall, Jerry Colin's drunken abuse at hospital staff, Bastarauds manufactured "mugging" to explain injuries endured during a drunken tumble, Dope smoking NZ cricketers, Andrew Johns coke snorting, eckie scoffing NRL career etc,etc etc....Setting a dwarf on fire is not off the Richter scale as far as drunken escapades go. Why is it that women are rarely if ever involved in similar incidents and if sports coaches were smart they'd have total abstinence written into every players contracts

You forgot the NRL player in 2010 who lost his contract after having " simulated" sex with a dog and tweeting it after another "mad monday " booze up .And there was a play written here called "Looking for Keith Murdoch "which I am told was pretty good .And the English player jumping after the ferry .

Let's face it, Cloudy ... it's the barbarian in us that gets ya hot and bothered ... right?

Somehow I can't picture you posting on some nerds IT message board.

The more we allow our animal instincts to surface ...the more we scratch ourselves, the closer you wanna get.

You just can't help it cause your probably part barbarian yourself, no offence meant.

Perhaps you should rethink your last statement ... "Just proves what I always knew...women have more sense"

:o)

The Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan incident is probably the worst example of female sports stars-gone-wild that I can think of.  Generally, drunken, stupid sports players on drunken stupid escapades is mostly a male dominated arena.

True women antics don't really make the headlines... but question is do they have as much fun....? Albeit pretty bad lighting a dwarf on fire.... would have been a laugh at the time............... But in the realms of PCness this is highly unPC..............

Problem is men with brawn and very little brain capacity are probably the real issue here. That limited brain capacity is worsened by alcohol and then they become really farcical and at ti9mes cruel - bringing out the basic barbarism in them. Women on the other hand can be funny. Just imagine one of the sights to see ever was Toks van der Linde's mother in high heels just outside the field - handbag under the arm - parading up and down the field while he son is playing for his school - shouting and screaming encouragement and denigrating the ref - and you will get the picture. She was even fatter than he son is - real gross lady!!! LOL

At least she didn't spit out a hoogy.

We're allowed to be barbaric ... where as the fairer sex have limits placed on them. They're ladies and should behave as such ... even when naughty ... or so our society believes and I agree with it.

My dream woman is ...

A loving mother, gentle and kind to her children ... an absolute lady in public, knowing which fork to use for which dish ... and finally ... my favourite ... a whore in bed.
