Aussies add another Fijian to woeful Wobblies

...Looks like Cheika's been counting down the days to mid September when Melbourne Rebels Fijian Seta Naivalu is finally eligible to play for Arstralia....will he be replacing Fijian Kurindrani or fellow Fijian Kerevi in the centres.....or Fijian Speight on the wing...

...not sure what happened to those other Fijians ..wingers Taqele Naiyaravoro or Nabuli have been in the wider squad in the past...

Another Fijian to watch out for next year is Marika Koroibete who is joining Melbourne Rebels from league club Melbourne Storm...I am betting Cheika will also jump on him after Storm just won the NRL minor premiership yesterday...

 ...Could be good news for SA if Quadoh starts at 10 for the Aussies...he can't tackle to save himself and folds under pressure so just run at him all day...

...will be interesting to see what the Aussies do with their midfield as the Foley experiment at 2nd 5/8 didn't work...possibly see Hodge there ?...would be good to see SA exploit the flailing Wobbly backline and kick the Aussies butt this weekend..

...of course SA has backline issues of their own...will we see De alland switch places with Mapoe perhaps?

...hard to know exactly why yr so sh!t ATM Redsman...  too much Carltons and KFC has probably not helped much with fitness...maybe it's a cultural thing with the apathy and the laziness,..

...not to mention the lack of leadership from a dopey captain and coach, indecisiveness with who should be playing in the 10 jersey and steering the backline,... lack of confidence a big problem after NZ and England kicked yr butt emphatically..--actually Robbie Deans is looking pretty good as a coach given what the current sorry state of Australian rugby has descended into...

...but anyway, feel free to use as many Fijians as you like, as long as you realise it's a 15s game yr playing and not 7s...one code is more structured than the other which is why Fijians excel in 7s but not so much in 15s...

..individually they are brilliant but if Super rugby is anything to go by..,no Aussie teams made this years finals with those same players so good luck with that...

...on the bright side SA is just as sh!t ATM so this next game could be yr big chance to redeem yrselves..

As predicted above...news breaking of code-switching Melbourne Storm winger Fijian Marika Koroibete set to be fast-tracked into the Wallabies squad for their Europe grand slam tour in November.

Having signed with the Melbourne Rebels for next year's Super Rugby season, Koroibete has been asked to join the Wallabies on their five-Test, seven-match tour starting early November.

Preparing to play in the NRL finals, the Fiji-born flyer offers much-needed power and pace for a Wallabies side lacking X-factor on the wings and the tour will speed up his transition back to rugby union.

The 24-year-old played the 15-man game in Fiji and attended the same school as fellow Rebels outside back Sefa Naivalu, who has been training with the Wallabies and becomes eligible to play later this month.

However he hasn't played rugby since moving to Australia and starting his league career with Wests Tigers in 2011.

Koroibete said he hadn't spoken recently to Wallabies coach Michael Cheika, who is in Brisbane preparing the team to take on South Africa on Saturday night, but confirmed he would join the squad for the tour.

"I spoke to him before I signed with the Rebels and he's going to take me on the spring tour with the boys," Koroibete said.

"I'm just thinking of the Storm at the moment but I'm excited to get back into rugby union and it will be a big challenge after six or seven years not playing."

Koroibete starred in the Storm's impressive win over Cronulla in the final round last Saturday to seal the NRL minor premiership, bringing some fierce physicality in defence while topping his side for run metres.

...yea mate how dare the Aussies add another Fijian to their team...we have absolutely no hope of catching them now goddammit... as you know NZ owns all the Pacific Islands so next time get my permission before stacking yr team with Fijians REdsman...

 So Koroibete has played his last league game and was cited in the process....attempts are now being made for him to serve a suspension in another code, i.e rugby union - funny sh!t..

...the code hoppers automatic inclusion in the Wobblies EOYT has been described as a slap in the face to all the wingers toiling on the Super Rugby pathway...

Incredibly, Koroibete, 24, will be the fifth Fijian-born winger involved with the Wallabies this year ...in the view of dual code success Lote Tuqiri ,the mass injection of Fijian finishers will benefit the Wallabies for seasons to come....
