Rory was definitely missed, he is understated engine in forward pack - talk now that Big Will Skelton may be in mix for RWC.

One thing for sure in the modern game, big strong skillful locks are a valuable asset...

Beale dominated in the dry and struggled in the wet - he's a proven match winner in both NH and SH comps. Had an off night - but opposite to last week Aussie fwds struggled - hoping Big Will and Rory be OK for RWC...

In a way I think there were still a lot of positives to come from that game from an Aussie POV at least know which players to cull.

Nick White has been a revelation (I always liked him under McKenzie - got more of a Aaron Smith type of style about him) - Genia is a has-been sadly I think he will still be best choice half after White...

Beale is nowhere near the quality of Andrè, Am, Frans or even Serfontein. A very flawed and thoroughly overrated player. I wouldn't even play him ahead of Damian or Kriel.

Beale is an excitement machine... sadly very few indigenous aussie players play the XV game.

Seriously I know another 20+ reserve grade Rugby League players with pace and ability like Beale... its in their DNA... acceleration / stepping etc - just a damn shame the morons who run rugby in this country don't develop more of them. 

Many of the AFL and NRL best players have aboriginal heritage.

Saying that the downside of our indig boys is their tendency to be confidence players... and when things arent going their way can have extreme shockers..

Truth be told I was over Folau after game in Perth... Dont think he would have changed much (religious opinions aside) in Auckland - kiwis were too hungry - at least the brand will roll on and hopefully can put some more Perth-like performances together in the land of the rising sun..   

I've been watching Beale flub for nearly ten years. He can be unpredictable. I wouldn't necessarily call it x factor. He makes life hard for players around him. That's quite a departure from Folau who constructively brings others into the game.

I watch NRL and can attest to the potential of aboriginal athletes in Aussie rugby. From what I have heard from other Aussies, rugby union is for the privileged, very closed off. A pity.

1/Any rugby game played in any stadium in Aust is nearly a home game to NZ there are so many kiwis here and most aussies dont understand all the penalties (or can be bothered to sit through) in a game of rugby. Hence Perth game was 50/50 at best

2/ Eden park - rabid kiwis nearly 99% and throwing projectiles at the Australian bench not to mention the fact the Peyper always refs bledisloe (at least for the last 5years or so) in NZ....................... cant tell me this is not a well planned and executed kiwi strategy?

3/ Scott Barrett was pinged for using his shoulder on head... simple... red card.. only got self to blame for that...

4/ As posted elsewhere... the aussie media has about as much clue about anything and is so manipulated anyone with some clue doesnt buy in... especially when talking about rugby. If you listened to Aus media re Rugby they make out like Folau's the problem and not Ralene........
