58/3 is a poor start for SA and one would have to consider whether the bowling attack is as weak as Mozart makes it out to be.  
De Kock benefits from the "poor"  bowling attack - the other batsmen does not - so here are we in this case?

 I'll take anything between 280 and 320and I wouldn't give up on the Proteas if they don't until the Ozzies have had a bat..

 D1 Honours belongs to the Ozzies, the Protea batting was too fragile. They need to get back into the game by taking some early wickets and they cannot allow themselves to be batted out of the game.

We need 4 more wickets, and they have a minimal lead at the moment, and we still have to bat again, and the probability is that the Aussies will be batting on day 4 or 5 or both .


I haven't watched much today, but from what I have read about Shamsi online, he is already turning the ball prodigiously.


Interesting times ahead it seems

 Yes, I'm glad he is finally getting a chance to move out of Smith and McKenzie's shadow .  The 3 were coached by Jimmy as boys and both Graeme and Neil had great international careers, with Kleintjie Cook sucking hind tit. good to see him having first dibs at the cherry now.
